Christianity cannot be compared to the religions of the world. We cannot justify our actions by comparing them to people outside the faith.

You're totally wrong about that, for Christianity is about God's Truth in His Word, and everything... is to be measured by God's Word, especially ideas of men's religions, of which Islam is one.

The is no congruity between the world and those who carry Christ in them. We are to be examples to the world..not defenders of it. Our weapons are not physical ones...unless one has forsaken the Spirit for the carnal means. Christianity is a WAY and a means of doing the will of God. If we kill people then we have failed to show them the way of love in Christ. The politics of the kingdom of God has NOTHING in common to the present worldly political difficulties that sin brings to men. You cannot solve the fleshly problems with more flesh. ALL the problems of the world are spiritual in nature and should be handled as such. Let the world look after the world's interests. Who will look after the things of the Lord?

You're wrong Biblically about that also. Christ established the right of self-defense in Luke 22 when He told His disciples that didn't have one to go buy a sword.

Christians have a God-given right to defend theirselves, their home, family and country. That has NO conflict with following Christ Jesus in what He commanded His servants. It's because there's a huge difference between preaching the Gospel to non-violent people who may or may not accept It, vs. choosing to not defend oneself from a murderer or attacker.

Those who try to put both of those separate issues in the same basket to say Christians don't have the right to self-defense are pushing Communist pacifist propaganda.
