The Body of Christ is the New Man - no male or female. Paul writes 4 chapters of doctrine on this new Man. So, where is the doctrine of this other view - Body of Christ as female?

I added to my thread after you brought it up again some more verses and thoughts on how the body of believers is His bride.
Is the bride of Christ the church as in the people of the church? Or is it a city.

Wives are considered female.
As for there being no male or female nor bond or free in teh body- that has to do with how people could approach god.
Paul continued to show the distinctions between male and female. Just look at Ephesians and rules for wives and husband in the body, and in 1 Cor, rules for worship in the assembly for men and women. And also in Titus and Timothy about the prohibitions for females holding offices in the church.
Right now we are the espoused to Jesus. We marry Jesus in REv. 19. We are called the espoused, the bride and the wife. Those are not androgynous terms.

Christ has one bride, formed from both Jew and Gentile, built into one body, presented as one chaste virgin, and united to Him in the heavenly city which is the church in glory.

The church is definitely a 'her' and a 'she' in scripture.
And God a 'He' and a 'Him'
Ephesians 5

The church (one man, both Jew and Gentile) is the Israel of God, of which Israel after the flesh was a type/shadow/figure. Similarly earthly Jerusalem (Zion) was only a type/shadow/figure for new Jerusalem, the city that is above which is our mother.
This would IMHO, infer that the "guests" are the gentile nations. Bride, groom and wedding guests.
So, you`re happy to tell a young man to whom you are presenting the gospel, to come to Jesus and be His bride/wife?
And also tell a homosexual, to come to Jesus and be His bride/wife?

When you affirm the Church is the body of Christ, you already concede the Church is the bride of Christ, because Adam's bride, Eve, was his own body, "bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh", and Christ is the antitype to Adam (Ro 5; 1 Co 15).
Pretty straightforward.
It's just an allegory, not literal. And the church is only the bride collectively/corporately. Individually we are guests or bridesmaids at the wedding, in other allegories. The bridegroom came first to the nation of Israel to invite her be His bride, but she sadly refused His hand, except for a remnant which was the early church made up initially of mainly Jews. As Isaiah said, "though the number of the Israelites be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant will be saved." Natural Israel (Israel after the flesh) isn't the bride, but the "Israel of God" is, which is a commonwealth because it includes Gentile believers who are "grafted into" it.
The `her` is not there, but an `it,` referring to the Body. `For we are members of His Body, of His flesh and of His bones.` (v. 30) Male.
So, God who is omniscient, expects fallen man in Israel to obey Him? Where has any fallen man obeyed God and received eternal life without Christ? Fallen man gentile or Jew cannot thwart God`s purposes for them. That is making out God to be ridiculous in not seeing that and making a way, and also making fallen man so powerful that he can stop God`s plans & purposes for - the Nations, for Isreal and for the Body of Christ.

Don't lett what the Lord says in His Word to get in the way of what you believe now:
Revelation 19:7 – “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”
Revelation 21:2 – “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
Matthew 25:1 – “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.”
Revelation 21:9 – “And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”
Once you get to know and understand the full gospel, I'll find out that Israel eventually accepts Jesus as the Messiah
So keep on learning and growing in the Lord, you'll get there eventually.

The `her` is NOT in the Eph. 5: 27 scripture.
And BBJ, do you know what doctrine is? What it is based on? Certainly not an exhortation, or Paul talking to his disciple saying he wants to present them to the Lord,. He will not present us to the Lord for it is the Lord Himself who will do that. (Jude 24)
Really nothing to see there about this so called doctrine.

Sounds like you don't want to be a part of what the Lord has going on.
The devil's crowd will be happy to take you back, have you checked in with them?
But I don`t see any substantial doctrine in the Body being the bride.
Rev. 19: 7 says the wife. So, when was the Body the wife? And why is Jesus marrying His wife?
Then in the New Jerusalem where is there any mention of the Body of Christ?
All reasonable questions.
BTW people who are threatened in their view often resort to name calling and putting down the other person instead of just discussing scripture properly. You say `peddlin, the devil`s crowd etc all putting someone down to try and make yourself right. Not good.
