That's what the reformers demanded! The catholics too!

I just hate to see people fall in with the ecumenical movement and call it revival just because they see people becoming religious.

Many who say they believe in God... it's meaningless because they have not been born again and the ones they did get born again are being taught false doctrine.

What you need to keep in mind is that most of those that have gotten their act together and figured it all out, started off in those churches or social clubs. They do help in getting people to read their bibles and grow. The coming persecutions will help growth along quite a bit.

How many have you met here, ourselves included, that are even as you descibe........

Everyone of us claims this, yet we find there are those whom hold to false doctrines of men, ( I refrain from naming them) claiming this doctrine interpretation is WHAT GOD MEANS, instead of SIMPLY ...WHAT GOD HAS SAID !

I definitely agree with what you are saying. And with sites like this one absolutely must ask God for wisdom and discernment, never taking anything at face value and always comparing to scripture.
If nothing else, one can see what false doctrine is being pushed and learn how to dispute it scripturally.

I would say a person who is truly passionate about God will be in constant prayer, as Paul taught us (1 Thessalonians 5:17), listening to what God has to say, and discussing things with him.

Ah, if you can remain in 'constant prayer', my brother, then you are blessed indeed!

We have all noticed this. A lot of the posts are deliberately promoting contradictions to the scriptures. Normalizing the false in incremental steps. This is not by accident. The objective is to normalize doctrines that are contrary to what Jesus and the original disciples taught. The battle between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan is often fought right in the church itself. Satan already controls the world so they take the fight into the church so as to corrupt the saints and render them powerless.

I would suggest this struggle within the Church has indeed been going on since the very beginning! (was not Judas one of the twelve?)

But we have Christ's promise that the gates of hell will not prevail, and thus the Church carries on.

Indeed today the enemy seeks to isolate and disempower the Church and everywhere persecution against the Church is rising,,,

Ever, where the enemy rises , these two things follow: the slaughter of the innocent and an attempt to put an end to the daily sacrifice.

This is something that we need to guard against at all times. Remember that witches and necromancers will engage in forums like this just so as to create confusion.

Confusion, factions, division... we know what spirit is behind these..

They went out from us, but they were not really of our number; 10 if they had been, they would have remained with us. Their desertion shows that none of them was of our number.
