Ephesians 1:4.
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
The church; believers know it is a group of called out ones, chosen to be in Christ before the foundation of the world (what that means is; if you are going to be born again, it is going to happen because you are placed in Christ and Christ in you, same thing. It doesn't mean God picks and chooses his favorites to be saved, that is a twist of scripture). If you think about the word church, what is your first thought? For some it is the building! That is the mind set of religion that the church is a place people go to worship God. They may not exude an ounce of spirituality anywhere else in the world, but the moment they step into a building, the church building, they become spiritual giants. You can see any kind of worship imaginable. From the beginning man has had fixed in them the desire to worship something. Even a so called atheist will worship the nothingness of their own mind to say there is no God, I don't think half of them even believe that but it's popular in the world they live in so they worship their ignorance.
What did the disciples do on the mount of Transfiguration, they wanted to build an altar. You have all this happening around them and all they can think of is build an altar, that is the heart of man.
The Church is a people that have been born again out of the world, the ecclesia! the called out ones. They are the circumcision made without hands, Philippians 3:2-3,
2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
What has happened to this people is God himself has made the circumcision, it is to the heart, the spirit of man divided away to the glory of God. And they that worship him now must worship him in spirit and true. How impressed do you believe the father is with all the pageantry that goes into a religious ceremony. The last time they had a form of worship was when they were in the building last. Outside of the building nothing that even looks like a form of worship, as a matter of fact outside of their patterns they follow in ceremonial religion, evil lurks for all men to see. God is not allowing religion to dictate what he has done or what he is doing in the world, all things will be exposed for what they are.
God runs the show so to speak not man, and that will come to the forefront at times, to show that man is not in control, the father is in charge. So what you do now is done in spirit and truth, what does that mean? It is an inner knowing and lifestyle that the pleasing of your Father only comes as you live the uniqueness of your creation to the glory of the father. That is a love relationship, it comes no other way, why? because that is the way it is-GOD IS LOVE. They worship him in spirit and truth because they love him more then they love themselves and manpleasing religion of the world. We have the freedom of choice, choose this day to love your father more than you love yourself, glory to the Father.
