THE END (NO, NOT THE DOORS)

When we say THE END it remains to be seen which end is being referred to.

[Matthew 24:14 KJV] "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." ************ The gospel of the kingdom will be preached again in the tribulation. This gospel is that the prophetic promised Davidic kingdom on earth is again at hand. In the Davidic kingdom believing Israel will reign with Christ for a thousand years.
************* [1 Corinthians 15:24 KJV] "Then [cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power." ********** Here is the end where Christ delivers up the Davidic kingdom to God the Father.

The word used here, τέλος ("telos") also means the goal or purpose. Same as in English: "The ends justify the means".
