It's bad enough that some people don't want the vaccines...

That's fine, they'll just force it on us...

but to actively keep other people from getting them?

Appfftt, please... We are the ones being forced, not them... We are the victims.

And what is an anti-vaxer??? Someone who is against mandatory vaccinations
Then why the negative connotations perpetuated by the government and media??? To stop any meaningful debate from occurring

Neighbours say their kids got autism from a vax
Officials say they didn't get autism from the vax

Who do u believe? Your neighbours or the authorities?
Authorities which banned the vaxxed movies from entering Australia?
Authorities who have resorted to demonizing your neighbours?

Too many people believing authorities these days over their own friends

In Victoria, OZ you are now branded a vaccine criminal. That's the breaks mate.

And where I can sympathize with you...there's nothing I can do. They won't let you into the States unless you do get vaxxed. Just saying.

Herd immunity didn't work for this town.

Second wave caught them completely unaware. People died from lack of oxygen. Others needing medical help not infected also died from the medical services being overwhelmed.

So all that you have thought gets thrown out the window when a real world petri dish happened.

Population 2,000,000. Deaths from covid, 3,000. That's 0.15%. that isn't any worse than any other city in the world. Even assuming their figures are correct, 3000 as a percentage of cases is still less than 2%.

And natural immunity has been proven to be impossible.

I dunt know about herd immunity, but I would suggest many individuals are immune. After all, this is meant to be a pandemic right? So how come only 5% of the population gets infected, and only a miniscule percentage of that infected actually get sick, and even less actually die? When i read accusations of exaggeration smoking officialdom I can do nothing but agree.

I was reacting to the article trying to blame anti-vaxxers for forcing people not to get the vaccine.
They were protesting and speaking to people. It was the fire brigade that decided to close it for 1 hour.
