Through out the Bible there is talk about the First church bride of Christ. That was the first united people of faith who were sold out Christians and gave up their lives to live for God and to love their fellow neighbor which included also sharing the good news of Jesus with others. In that day in age a great persecution had came up against people who were called Christians, and even Jews would kill their own kind for following after Jesus. I believe that this first Church bride of Christ was taken because Jesus talks about the Apostles as the bridegroom - though Judas killed himself and had been replaced by Paul, when Jesus had came back to take his bride I believe it was in 70ad which was the first people to experience resurrection, including those who had been in sheol (Paradise/Prison) after their coming out and judgement.

However, you as a Christian should know that you have a family of believers that are in the Heavenly Jerusalem, and that you also have a family of believers now on this earth still being part a part of the body of Christ because of your faith on the Saviour who gave his life for you, that you may have the ability to have relationship with the God who created you, if you so choose and desire to do so.

The main thing is to realize that you are part of the body of Christ (Philippians 2:2-5), simply due to faith in the Gospel of Christ which is the power of god unto salvation (Romans 1:16) in which you become being part of the heavenly citizenship; (Philippians 3:20). While you are here on earth you have a company of believers that are in heaven with you, and you also have people here on earth (Hebrews 11:13) who are believers who you will get to interact with from time to times, to encourage you to continue in faith, and trust in God. Jesus said that those who do the will of God is his brother, mother, sister (Mark 3:35).

The New Testament - is really the New Covenant where God writes on the hearts and minds of individuals by and through his spirit (Jeremiah 31:31-33), and you become a child of God (John 1:12-13), or a Son or daughter of God (Romans 8:14). With a family of believers on earth, as well as in heaven, in the heavenly Jerusalem - (Hebrews 12:22-24).
