Amen.Well it is true that as of now- no other resurrection and ascencion has taken place of any persons body.
But the first resurrection will be at the rapture. the dead in Christ as it is written refers to th eir bodies. As Paul worte in Corinthians that tobe absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So when a church saint dies, their soul goes to heaven to be with the Lord while their body goes intot he ground.
Also consider this: Since we also sit in heavenly places, even as the souls of them that have died in Christ, then there are them in those heavenly places, that are already robed in white, and then there are us being encouraged and exhorted to abide faithful to the end, in order to be robed with them likewise.
I.e. we are already there in the faith, but we only see it through a glass darkly, but if we remain steadfast in the faith to the end, then we will see where we were with no darkness at all!
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. (Heb 12)
I.e. we are awake in Christ on earth in natural bodies, and yet sit in an heavenly place now, and in the end we can wake up fully in an instant in that heavenly seat we sat in.
