I prefer Pepsi. That didn’t go over well in Atlanta, but I stood my ground (and drank Pepsi in the dark).
Better than either of them, imo ->
When I was a teenager we called it “Kentucky Swamp Water”.

That must have stayed in KY. This is the first I've heard of it.
I also preferred Pepsi.
Then I discovered Dr.Pepper and switched. Now,if I do drink a Pepsi I can taste that slight lemon flavor. I've found that sense of taste fades if I drink Pepsi regularly.
A couple of years ago there was a report of a study ranking the worst sodas. Dr.Pepper ranked #1.
