It seems to me we should consider these places also:
Ephesians 2:4-7 KJV
4) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7) That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Colossians 3:1-4 KJV
1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
2 Corinthians 5:5-8 KJV
5) Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6) Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7) (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:1-3 KJV
1) For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2) For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3) If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
John 11:25-26 KJV
25) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Maybe you're not in the mood to play along?
It's very clear the Bible teaches the "life" or "reward" is brought with Christ at his coming.
"....he has caused us to be born again to a
living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading,
kept in heaven for you, 5 who by God’s power are being
guarded through faith for a salvation
ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Pe 1:3–5.
In simple terms, the reward is received
through the resurrection, not at the moment of death.
Even more simply, the reward, Christ’s eternal life within him, will be granted to the faithful
when he returns.
The inheritance promised to the faithful is a cornerstone of God’s purpose for His people. As Deuteronomy 4:20 and other passages declare, God calls His people to be an inheritance unto Him. This inheritance is far more than a mere earthly reward; it encompasses the Kingdom (Matthew 25:34), the earth (Matthew 5:5), and eternal life (Matthew 19:29), all granted by promise through the Word of God (Galatians 3:18,29; 1 Peter 3:9; Acts 20:32).
It can
never be spoiled, the term
amianton in the New Testament signifies that no defect or flaw can taint this inheritance. In a world where titles are challenged and reputations marred, the inheritance in Christ stands without blemish (Revelation 21:8,27; James 1:27; Hebrews 13:4).
Nor can it
fade. The Greek
amaranton, derived from
marainoo (to wither or dry up), captures the contrast between transient earthly things—like flowers that wither or inscriptions on tombs that disappear—and the lasting nature of God’s promise. Our inheritance in Christ will never fade or lose its beauty; it endures eternally, vibrant and full of life.
Finally, it is
kept, guarded and preserved by God, as Psalm 31:19, Matthew 6:25-29, John 14:2, and 2 Timothy 4:8 attest. Nothing in heaven or on earth can pluck it from the hands of the faithful. It is a secure, living promise, entrusted to those who walk in obedience and faith.
This inheritance is not merely a hope, it is a certainty, a divine guarantee that surpasses all earthly gains. In Christ, we are offered a reward that cannot perish, spoil, or fade, and it is preserved for all who remain faithful
until his glorious return.
