The Insanity of the "right" to have guns!

It is not like those that support gun ownership are not saddened by the school shootings...it could be their kids!
But guns are inanimate objects....beating them with a stick is not going to help.
Hating them is not going to solve anything.
Gun confiscation is not an option. So it is a waste of time to discuss it.
No form of gun control will help because there is too many guns in America and because we coddle criminals it would just open up a business for criminals trafficking guns, that we cannot control. We cannot control our borders, we cannot control drug trafficking or human trafficking...people are taking our kids and turning them in sex slaves.

Guns are not the only way to kill....bombs can be put together with household or farm ingredients, we have already seen that. And the instructions for it are on the web. But that is not really the question.

School shootings are a relatively new occurrence....Why? That is the question that should be asked. What is going on in their minds?
Is it normal for people to want to go to a school and kill kids? Of course not. Why is it more common in America? How do we handle people with mental issues in this country....we give them drugs and let them roam the streets. HIPA hides the fact from the public that they are mentally ill. Law enforcement does not respond even if they are warned. We now have stores that sell drugs. We murder 600,000 babies a year, we have lost respect for life. And this can be part of the issue, we have a large part of the populous that are fighting for the right to murder babies.... even after they are actually born, is this part of the insanity or is it similar to the mental condition that prompts people to want to kill kids...How wide spread is it?

It still does not answer why they do it. It seems to be mostly in the US. Guns, bombs, knives, poison, it really does not matter how they do it, but why? The US is at a point where our society does not want to punish criminals...at least the democrat part of it. But would that matter? People that go to schools and kill kids always get caught or killed. So what are they thinking? Do they want to die? Do they want to get caught? Are they in such mental pain that they want to do something that will get them caught or killed? Or do they want to cause mental pain to others? Who knows? But at this point what is the logical course of action.

At this point we can be sure that this is going to happen again. So until we learn how to handle these people, the answer is to increase security at the schools. We also need to change how we handle people with mental and emotional problems. But that is kinda like gun control it is a difficult issue....it is really not going to happen until the democrats lose control of the government. And even then people are reluctant to lockup mental people. We can waste our time with gun control but there are too many ways to kill people.

how many of those 7 died by gunshot? Last i checked, only ashli did. And no, she was no “appropriately” shot. As to the policeman’s name, if its out there, it sure did take a while for it to be released.
Ashli was a patriot, she was doing her patriotic duty and fighting back against a tyrannical govt.

I am very Patriotic too, but I’m learning that we as Christians are not to partake in things of this world or get involved them, Jehovah has control and things that have to be, have be and nothing we do will change those events from happening, that we just have to be patient, follow Jehovah’s word and wait for the day Paradise on Earth will resume again as it was meant to be, this is why I don’t concern myself with wars or current events, for if we truly believe we know Jehovah has us protected and the day will come when Jehovah will cast out Satan and all his demons and the wicked from this world and those of us who believe in the power of Jehovah, we know we have nothing to worry about and will enjoy Paradise here on Earth the way Jehovah has intended for us the day he breathed life into Adam and Eve.

People shoot people.
In Australia we have strict gun laws but people are being shot all the time still.
In the USA the stricter the gun laws the more people looks like they get higher % shot.

I come from the position of that the main problem comes from trash people, get rid of the trash and you don't have a problem.

As to who the cops have to deal with ? they say it's the same people all the time mainly that they are dealing with, they know such people by even by their middle name.
The Shootings can be dealt with a lot better, all the idiots can go to what ever State loves such people and if another State does not want such people well they are out ! Their are 3 strikes etc and they are out and a Judge makes that call on the situation. but them people know to keep their nose clean and step up or else.

Nice speech, but that sounds like how politicians or the people of this world do things (or solve problems). While it is sad that horrible things happen in this world, our mission is not to change the whole world (or even our whole nation) for the better. Jesus said narrow is the way that leads unto life and few be there that find it. Our mission if we so choose to accept it is to follow Jesus Christ by faith. If we love God, and love others and follow the commands of Jesus Christ in preaching the gospel, and helping the poor, and the unfortunate within our immediate sphere or influence using God’s Word and in operating by the Spirit, God will use our life as a living sacrifice to Him beyond our imagining. But only God will know. For we walk by faith and not by sight. We need to focus on Jesus, His love, and in loving all others (Including our enemies). Jesus said love your enemies. Why? Because we were once enemies of God. So when we get enraged at what we think is the injustice of children who have been killed, just know that our anger is at sin. We were once deserving of death because of our sin, too. So when GOD says He is angry at the wicked every day (Psalms 7:11), that is anger at those who choose sin in this life and they don’t want GOD. But we don’t truly know who these people are until after they die. We must always hold out hope to even the most hardened person or enemy. For when we love our enemies, that is the truly cool head we need rather than having a weapon on hot stand by to take them down if they act in a threatening manner. They deserve grace just as much as we do. Our mission is one of love because GOD is love. But we must follow His way, and not our own way. We cannot re-write the Bible in our own way of thinking or to fit or cater to our own thoughts. The Lord our God desires us to submit to Him, and pray to Him, and in our turning from our wicked ways, whereby GOD can heal our land. But it seems that nobody wants that path. So all we can do is love in this dark and fallen world based on how the Lord Jesus and His followers teach us and not as how the politicians or psychiatrists teach us.

Follow Jesus more. Follow His Word more. We need to focus on that instead.
Our life should be a living testimony of Jesus Christ and not the life of a politician or psychiatrist (Which is how the world deals with things).

First, 1 John 2:3 is the acid test for a person in having an assurance that they truly know (or have a relationship) with Jesus Christ. It says, “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.” (1 John 2:3). 1 John 2:4 basically says that the person who says they know the Lord and they do not keep His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in them. Meaning, we should be checking or examine ourselves as Paul says to see whether or not we are in the faith according to 2 Corinthians 13:5 (Which would even include me). Are we truly keeping His commandments? Or are we following our own path or way?

Second, I have a problem with your stating that your relationship with Christ has nothing to do with people wanting to kill kids. Your very next sentence is the answer that refutes this very statement you made, friend. It’s prayer (Which is a part of our relationship with Christ). Pray so that the slaughters subside. Pray for this nation. All the problems in this life will be dealt with by the Lord Jesus Christ. So the more we focus on the Lord and in loving Him, and in following Him, He can answer our prayers (if it is in His will). Our focus should not be whether or not justice will be done. It will be. There will be a Judgment Day and nobody is going to get away with anything. So we can stop pretending to help God out with His justice. God says vengeance is mine, I will repay saith the Lord. Our mission is to love Jesus and all others. Our mission is to deepen our relationship with Christ and His Word and to follow it. By doing so… God will lead us to making spiritual changes around you that would have not have happened otherwise. But it starts with us in following the Lord on His terms and not our own terms. You seek to change the terms like changing the word “fornication” in the Bible (among other problematic things). I can only encourage you to believe the Bible as it is written and do not seek to change it. Revelation has dire warnings not to add or take away from His words. Yes, this is the book of Revelation, but the book of Revelation is not a separate book now from the rest of the Bible. When we speak of Revelation, we all know it is connected with the Bible and it is a part of it. Revelation is the end of His Word for us. So just believe the Bible as it is plainly written and obey it. Be simple and do not overcomplicate things by changing words in the Bible, or thinking you can change things like the world does. Follow Jesus, and His Word as it is written, friend.

Tucker carlson talked about the gun violence tonite, and thankfully, he said some important things. For instance, he came right out and said gun control and gun bans would not only fail at stopping gun violence, but would lead to civil war in the US.
Secondly, he said gun violence goes back even further than columbine or sandy hook. It starts with a rise in groups like gangs. And as for big govt, the only purpose of big govt at this point is more money and more power. So stopping mass shootings isnt on their agenda. Why would it be? You’ll never ban guns if no one is dying from them. Big govt needs bad things like mass shootings to happen so they can increase their power.
I dont think anyone has any idea how to stop gun violence, its a complex issue. And banning guns in the US isnt a viable solution. And removing the 2nd amendment will never happen. So now what??
