Most the problems we have here with mass shootings involve the mentally disturbed....the laws we have prevent disclosure of the fact that they are mentally disturbed.

So mentally ill people will continue to buy guns at stores...legally....and kill people. Gun laws can have no effect on that. Survival favors the prepared. That will not change until we can do a better job of tracking them. The ones that are caught after killing people can plea insanity because it is already documented they are mentally ill, but no one but their physiatrist knew about it. Even if they warn people it does not help. So again our gun laws are fine....it is our people laws that are the problem.

And our other problem is drug gangs. And again we are back to people problems, that this country does not want to control. Our justice system for real criminals amount to a time out in a kindergarten. They do not want to control our borders, they do not want to prosecute criminals, they do not want long prison sentences, they do not want to build more prisons. Of course most of this is driven by the democrats. We kill a whole bunch of babies but not many murderers.

In this country criminals really have nothing to fear. Murderers are rarely executed and the prisons are near to resorts.

Comparing the US to other countries is like comparing apples and oranges. I am not saying we could not learn something from other countries....but it has nothing to do with gun laws....it would be how they handle criminals and criminal activity.
