Whats kind of interesting is that you both make good points.... Point 1. No, not all who claim to be a Christian are Born Again.... We all know there is a lot more to it than saying "I love Jesus". You have to show it in your works and faith. You have to know what it is truly like to walk with Christ.
Point number 2. No, Churches do not always speak of the crown. I do see this in more traditional churches, i.e. Lutheran, Presbyterian etc...
To make you body a slave to the Holy Spirit... Do we know what all that entails? If you walk with Christ, you certainly do. When you read scripture, and you don't always understand it's true meaning, regardless of translation, you should pray for clarification. The Holy Spirit will tell you, I promise this. But beware the enemy who will lead you astray with a voice not unlike our Lords. You must know the difference. If you walk with Christ and are lead by the Holy Spirit you will know the difference hands down.
IMHO... Follow the teachings of Christ, be lead by the Holy Spirit, and the rest will fall into place.
BA out!
