Having a form of godliness:

Do you want a picture of the church and humanity..there you have it. If we are not there I predict we are close. The hour will come when all humanity is going to fall prey to the misgivings of Satan. Church included! Your knowledge and growth will determine how you can handle these times. Men will be wicked. Evil shall wax worse and worse..Lord have mercy! You will need..sound instruction.

Now listen:

You have to see that you were not fixed up at Calvary you were killed out dead as Christ was.. dead as Christ on that cursed tree. Not a new man made better but a new creation.. old man dead. Look at the old man that you are trying to work on and get to follow the rules and bylaws of your church. That man is dead as Christ..old man is dead by the cross of Christ and his death. He nolonger lives Christ lives now. Can't you see that you nolonger live but Christ liveth in me..Paul said!

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. - Galatians 2:20.

You have to see the old man is crucified in Christ or mankind's suffering is prolonged ..my suffering is prolonged..by my selfish wants of being everything God made me to be and we don't know what he made us to be.

There is enough suffering in this world to go around for a lifetime. There is enough in one life to last plenty..do not prolong what God has fixed and made available to every human being alive. Why is it important to get a bible in the hand of every person alive? So they have a chance to choose life..just because I choose to be whatever I am - do not put that on humanity. Humanity needs the chance to make it's own choice by what life they will live by. Do not give them your religious jargon of philosophy on how God interacts with humanity..give them the book and tell them to read.

Do them a favor..do yourself a favor and not lead people, give people the opportunity they will need ..do not give them the Americanized version of what you think the the gospel is.. of prosperity...of faith..of whatever your philosophy is you think the gospel is. Until you KNOW what the gospel is you need to keep your mouth shut and not do more damage than good! Do not blindly lead them. Sure a few people have prospered..I believe in prospering..but that is not the gospel. They are here, although it seems that many argue about that, but for the honest hearted, we can see that those signs are like reading a newspaper, and that we are very deep into the last days, so very close to our deliverance.

I have found that no one wants Christ. No one wants to talk about him. The conversations don’t come. If I mention God I am mocked or told they don’t want anything to do with that. I have found that no one wants Christ. No one wants to talk about him. The conversations don’t come. If I mention God I am mocked or told they don’t want anything to do with that. It feels like an impossible task with the people that this chapter describes. I think those are the majority of people of late.

No it's not easy in a world that hates God for the most part. Keep being yourself..grow in him..give a witness as you feel led. There is always those you can deal with in the way you handle people ..that is a witness. Be ready..as believers learn and grow in the Lord, he will give you people that you can handle. Be yourself..not to religious imo. People are turned off by religion but they need to hear the gospel. Find out what the plan and purpose of God is..and minister the plan and purpose. The ministry of reconciliation! The only ministry I have found written to the born again. To quote a friend of mine; working with God/for God so to speak, will be your greatest test in life, as well as your greatest joy! Thank you for commenting. It will open up in time..wait on the Lord..he will use anyone that is willing and wants to give a witness..no strings, no great calling..that is mans Old Testament idea. Make sure your gifts and calling. You that preach the gospel - must live by the gospel. You live and die by the same gospel.

Great scripture. If Paul did write Hebrews.. I wonder what faith he was talking about. I have to go with the faith of the Lord..as our faith now! You have any thoughts on that? I do not believe it is automatic just because the way I have thought before..and surely others think kind of on the same lines. But I see a different faith in scripture now "the faith of the Son of God" in you, Gal. 2:20..with knowledge - by growth. His faith is my faith..his life is my life..his joy in my joy..his peace is my peace..and so on!

Godliness - Is a word that means Devotion. A form of godliness would be that of some type of devotion was formed and had but however denying the power of true devotion.

Also have caused all of those things which are noted in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. So that passage in itself brings forth the awareness of how us as individuals can be with-in our hearts especially when not having proper devotion which involves having relationship with the Father and the Son, by the spirit with-in through prayer; even reading the the bible to grow in spiritual knowledge in the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Father.

This makes me think of how a person should go and read the bible themselves and check against anything that may be said with-in their churches out there in the world that a person may visit to question, to think, and challenge themselves even to learn what the truth of what the bible say. When it comes down to being blinded by darkness, would say that is always a possibility.
