What is the SEAL of God? A seal, usually, refers to the use of a signet ring to press it's image into wax, melted upon a document. The imprint implies authenticity and ownership. The Ten Commandments were sealed with the fourth commandment, and in it, we see the three components of a seal:1. Person's NAME: Lord God (Isa 42:8)2. Person's AUTHORITY: Maker or Creator of all (Isa 40:25,26; Jer 10:10-12; Rev 4:11).3. TERRITORY ruled: Heaven and earth (Gen 2:1-4; Ex 20:8-11)In Ezekiel 20:12, we read, that the Sabbath is a SIGN between God and His people. A sign when followed as God commands, becomes a SEAL of righteousness. Ro 4:11. God's seal is His law written in your mind. Heb 10:15,16. "And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes (forehead)." Deut 6:8. His seal upon our hand and in our forehead - In the hand is symbolic of service, in the forehead is symbolic of worship. So what is the counterpart to the SEAL of God? The MARK of the Beast.Rome says, "Of course the Catholic Church claims the change was her act...and the act is a MARK of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters." Thomas, H.F., Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons, in answer to a letter regarding the change of the Sabbath. (In 364 A.D., at the Council of Laodicea.)Again Rome says, "It's (Sunday's change for Saturday) the MARK of our authority to OVER-RULE God's law." Father Enright, C.S.S.R., President of Redemptorist College, History of the Sabbath, p 802."Sunday is our MARK of authority...The church is ABOVE THE BIBLE, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact." The Catholic Record, September 1, 1923."The Bible says, 'Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day.' The Catholic Church says, 'No! by my divine power, I abolish the Sabbath day, and COMMAND YOU to keep holy the first day of the week. And, lo! The entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic Church." Father Enright.(Emphasis added)Pope John Paul 11, Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell have called for re-instituting the "Sunday" or, "Blue Laws." They are, still, on the books in twenty-six states. In Virginia, the third infraction meant death!Does this sound, far-fetched? How about a tree in the garden of Eden, determining the fate of all mankind? It is a question of allegiance. To whom do you give your allegiance? To the "harlot and her daughters" (Rev 17) - the apostate Catholic/Protestant religious system of man, (which, has supplanted the Word of God with her traditions), or, to the Word of God? One day, we all will have to choose.
