For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

The ministry of Christ in the Bible is the ministry of the saints to perfect them while not sinning. It is not the ministry of sinners to sin less with their lust.

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

The ministry to Christ's body is from Himself the Head of the Body. It is for the growth and perfecting of His newborn saints, where all things begin of God and must continue of God, and not of sin and Satan.

Does the true Head Jesus Christ minister sin to His own body? God forbid.

He ministers no sin to His body. He ministers repentance from sinning to the world, and ministers to the repented saints to keep ourselves unspotted from the world.

He that ministers sin to the body is therefore not in the ministry of Jesus Christ to His saints in light, but is ministering a head of sin to a body of sinners.

Who ministers sin and what is the ministry of sin? Those that minister being sinners. Those that minister having sin for life. Those that minister sinning in this life unto the end. And especially those that minister against not sinning and not having sin and not being sinners.

2 Peter 2 exposing the ministry of sin. Those that do not minister repentance to cease from sin, but instead minister against ceasing from sinning in this life.

Who ministers against repentance unto sinning not today? Those that minister it is impossible to do so in this life.

Calling all Christians sinners, saying all Christians must have and claim sin, and saying all Christians will sin, is certainly not the ministry of the Head Jesus Christ to His own body, in whom is no sin and ministers no sin to His own holy members and brethren.

Calling upon all men to repent of sinning, to not sin against God, to have no sin in Christ Jesus, to live without lust and sin of Satan, is certainly the ministry of Jesus Christ to the world first, and then the ministry of the Head to be perfected in Him without lust and sin of Satan.

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

This is the ministry of Christ to the world of sinners.

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

This is the ministry of Christ to His repented saints.

"Believe the gospel and be saved as sinners by grace. Always have sin and say you have sin. Not sinning is not possible for any man in the world. Repent of sinning so much and sin less."

This is the ministry of sin of the world to sinners in Christian religion.

The other side of this coin are those who think God no longer sees their sin. That their sins are no longer such because they POINT to the cross...thinking all their sins are already there automatically. For them, unbelief is about having a sin consciousness...as if that sin-consciousness was a bad thing. Searing one's consciousness in order to rejoice in one's constant forgiveness as one continually sins...is worse than sinning and repenting and sinning repenting...etc

Paul said that he was powerless to overcome sin although he wanted to very much. Those who get to the Romans 7 stage of their walk realize that there is a sin nature that needs to be dealt with by the power of the cross. No self-effort is sufficient. Paul says...not I...but sin in me.

When we GO TO GOD to be dealt with by the power of the cross we can be liberated...having that sin nature cut out of us...in order to have our inner man be joined with Christ to be where He is. THEN we can say with Paul...It is no longer I but Christ.

Of course this measure of grace is only given to us when the Lord sees our faith.

Brother. All I can say is Amen! You have nailed the perfect insight into the OSAS delusion of 'preforgiven' sinning.
The other side of this coin are those who think God no longer sees their sin.
Exactly! The blind Christ that sees and hears no evil, that people on earth can plainly see and hear. And since they can no more be condemned for their sinning, their Christ also speaks no evil, against them.

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

That their sins are no longer such because they POINT to the cross...
This is a unique way of saying it. While they are sinning, they are 'pointing' at the cross, so that their sinning cannot be seen and condemned. It's like calling on the cross not to watch or judge.

They direct their conscience to the cross while sinning, so that they cannot be convicted of sinning.

thinking all their sins are already there automatically.
Correct. By doctrine alone, they have nailed all their sinning on Jesus' cross, rather than crucifying their sinning on their own cross.

For them, unbelief is about having a sin consciousness...
And there we are. Since Bible forgiveness is by confession, and confession is by conviction, then how can there be sin consciousness, or having a conscience of sin, when already forgiven?

They cannot allow their consciences to be convicted of sinning anymore. The same as they cannot allow the true God to condemn their sinning anymore.

as if that sin-consciousness was a bad thing.
Perfect! It's in two ways. First, conviction of sinning is unbelief in already being forgiven.

Secondly, their conscience is entirely dependent upon their doctrine alone. A challenge to their doctrine is an attack on their conscience.

This is the old reason Cain slew Abel, after trying to convince him of his doctrine, that God refused to even hear.

Searing one's consciousness in order to rejoice in one's constant forgiveness as one continually sins..
Oh brother, I could not have said it better. Your perfected insight makes you most direct and pithy to expose the hidden darkness beneath all the pseudo-light.

Their doctrine of preforgiveness demands searing their conscience to any conviction of sinning. Because conviction by the spirit is the only way to repent with godly confession unto forgiveness of the sin.

They call it 'celebrating' their grace, while resisting the Spirit of grace as the devil. Any spirit or man trying to convict them of sinning, as though needing forgiveness, must be an unbelieving devil.

.is worse than sinning and repenting and sinning repenting...etc
Now this is well said and true. It's worse than the double hearted wretchedness of Romans 7 for sincere Christians.

O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

The unrepentant with preforgiveness take the rebuke of Romans 7 as their own gospel for life.

It's not wretched to them, but only normal. It's not something to be delivered from, but only celebrated. It's the ultimate religion of having their sin and eating it too.

Paul said that he was powerless to overcome sin although he wanted to very much. Those who get to the Romans 7 stage of their walk realize that there is a sin nature that needs to be dealt with by the power of the cross.
Not necessarily a sin nature, but a learned power to sin naturally. It becomes just like any other natural body function on earth. Sinning becomes as natural as eating, drinking, peeing, and pooping.

This is why repenting and ceasing to sin is as foreign to them as another world, where people don't pee and poop. The everlasting light and kingdom for Christ is completely blind to their unrepented hearts.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

No self-effort is sufficient. Paul says...not I...but sin in me.

True again. Trying to stop ourselves from sinning outwardly, without first repenting of the lust within the heart. It's the useless and vain religion of man's filthy rags, seeking to become righteous like God, from an unclean heart.

Repenting of sinning without is by repenting of lusting to sin within.

Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Men can repent of anything outwardly through power of our own will alone, but only through the Spirit's circumcision of Christ, can man repent of lusting with the heart.

The Pharisees preached a Jews religion of outward works by law, from an unrepented heart, and the Christians sinners preach a Christian religion of outward works by faith, from an unrepented heart.

When we GO TO GOD to be dealt with by the power of the cross we can be liberated...
By repenting of lusting and sinning first.

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

having that sin nature cut out of us..
Those who repent with faith toward God in Christ Jesus, receive His circumcision of heart, cutting off all lust of the world from within.

.in order to have our inner man be joined with Christ to be where He is. THEN we can say with Paul...It is no longer I but Christ.
Absolutely. Having lust taken away with power to keep lust away through the faith of Jesus, we are now wholly in Christ Jesus, in whom is no lust nor sinning.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Of course this measure of grace is only given to us when the Lord sees our faith.
Which is when He first sees our repented heart, and not only a changed mind about sin through hearing alone.

The called are all those who hear the word. The chosen are only those that hear, repent, and do the word.
