Luke 1:68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
1:69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
1:70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:

The prophets spoke of the Lord Jesus Christ since the world began.

Acts 3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Peter preached that the prophets spoke of the Lord Jesus Christ since the world began.

Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Paul's preaching of the Lord Jesus Christ however, was kept secret since the world began.
Paul preached Christ according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret, but was now made manifest through Paul (Romans 16:26 Ephesians 3:3).

Neither the prophets, nor Peter and the disciples, preached the mystery, as it was hid from them (Colossians 1:26).

The mystery revealed to Paul was that all could be justified freely by grace through faith in Christ Jesus as our propitiation, apart from the law, apart from Israel and covenants (Romans 3:19-26) and the preaching of the cross (1 Corinthians 1:18).

The mystery revealed the body of Christ (Ephesians 3:4-6 Colossians 1:18 Ephesians 1:22-23).

Is this also the same 'mystery', or maybe 'reason',

that many in the assemblies are sick and dying ?

(today and/or in Corinthians as written.... ). Not recognizing the body , I think is how it is put.

I don't know....he could have been strictly speaking to the Corinthians
1 Corinthians 11:29 could be speaking of not discerning the communion of the body of Christ

At the time,
he wrote directly what Yhvh Inspired - totally not of human origin, not of man's thinking,
not of his own interpretation.

Today, for centuries, the same disregard for the body has been witnessed by billions.. and many are continually sick and dying because of this, or because of disobedience, not in faith,
and "for lack of knowledge, MY people perish" is true still. (for multitudes)

Yes, there are a number of mysteries in the Christian faith, some revealed and some not yet. The mystery of the coming Kingdom is still future. The doctrine of Grace and the inclusion of pagan nations, together with Israel, was a mystery unveiled after Christ's death.

Grace is the revelation that Man can now indulge in righteousness without worrying that it will be spoiled by sin. Keeping the Law is now passé, since it was a system designed only to keep righteousness functioning for a time, until a full atonement for sin could be made. Then, the Law would no longer be needed, though most certainly, righteousness would continue.

The term, "since the beginning of the world," has for its focus not the exact beginning of the world, but often, the overall scenario encompassing the history of the world, including the Fall of Man. When we hear that all prophets from the beginning foretold Christ, it is not saying, specifically, that there were a lot of prophets in the beginning proclaiming the coming of Christ. Rather, it is just saying that all the prophets since the beginning have been proclaiming the need for a Savior from sin.

This has obviously been happening since the Fall of Man, because at that point the need for a Messiah became apparent. God prophesied the coming of a Messiah right after the Fall. But most prophets showed up much later in Israel, particularly when times got bad in that nation, since sin seemed destined to overwhelm it. It was at those times that the need for a Messiah became most apparent.

Titus
1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;

I've asked myself . . . to whom did God make this promise? It seems to me that it would have been Jesus.

In creating man God determined to save His creation, knowing it would become corrupted. I think this is saying that God promised Jesus eternal life, and all who would be in Him.

Much love!

You know I am amazed at how simple the message of salvation is yet how complicated religion makes it.
Here is another mystery that confounds so many:
Romans 5 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
¹⁵ But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
¹⁶ And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
¹⁷ For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
¹⁸ Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
¹⁹ For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
²⁰ Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
²¹ That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Talk about people perishing because of ignorance....if they could only understand this great mystery...the truth lies solely in knowing that our righteousness is of Him and not of ourselves....we can only be holy in Him...not apart from Him....the flesh is cursed until He returns....then He will put off the cursed flesh from us and give us a new body...an incorruptible one.
Someone please give Jesus praise! Amen?

Addressing the OP. well the apostle Paul was not the first one to Preach Jesus, and the redemption that's in him, a woman beat him to the punch. scripture, Luke 2:36 "And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;"
Luke 2:37 "And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day."
Luke 2:38 "And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem." a woman was preaching redemption in Christ before some of the apostles was ordained. the term "spake" here is the Greek word,
G2980 λαλέω laleo (lal-ye'-ō) v.
to talk, i.e. speak words.
[a prolonged form of an otherwise obsolete verb]
KJV: preach, say, speak (after), talk, tell, utter

the KJV can translate this word as "PREACH". for Christ himself was in the prophets of old testifying of himself this redemption that was to come.
1 Peter 1:10 "Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:"
1 Peter 1:11 "Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow."

so the OT prophetess Anna was preaching Jesus Christ in REAL TIME.

Amen and Amen!!

I was just reading this morning, Romans 4 and 5! The righteousness which is of God, by faith. So that it can be to everyone! And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty!

Much love!
