Heavenly Father, in the precious Name of your beloved Son Jesus Christ our Lord, I prayer for your will to be done on earth in the new year, as it is done in heaven.
I ask for wisdom in ministering both to the body of Christ and to the world.
Help me to resist ungodliness in its various forms and to promote spiritual growth and life among whosoever will confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead.
Thankyou for your guidance, counsel and support this year. May Your love and Your Word continue to abide in me throughout next year as I lead those who you bring to me and discerningly support those whose leadership you desire me to submit to.
As I prepare myself for the new year ahead, in your Name Lord Jesus Christ I declare my forgiveness for those who trespass against me and pray that I too be forgiven any trespasses of my own.
