Have you read the Gospel of Barnabas? You better if you’re going to speak with a Muslim. Sooner or later he or she will confront you with it, offering it as proof “from the pen of Barnabas” - “You do know who Barnabas is, don’t you?” - that Jesus did not die on the cross.

If the Gospel of Barnabas is reliable, the Quranic Dilemma is no dilemma at all.

Are you properly equipped to counter the Islamic argument?

Did Paul, a Jew, know what was written by pagan philosophers?

“Did Paul quote pagan philosophers in the New Testament? Yes, he did: Aratus, Menander, Epimenides. But, Paul did not quote them for the purpose of supporting them. Instead, he quoted them here and there to aid in defending and spreading the gospel. But, for him to do this, he would have had to study their teachings.”

Did Paul, a Jew, know what was written by pagan philosophers?

“… Paul quoted Pagan authors flr the purposes of critiquing and bringing judgment upon pagans. The basis from which he did this was always the Bible, a biblical worldview, and a biblical methodology …”
