Paul is the example I would point to.
Well i do not believe Paul would agree = let's SEE

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.
So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

Think about what he did in Athens. Think about what he said in 1 Corinthians 9:22.

You had an opportunity to draw the man or woman in but you chose instead to push him or her away.

You just gave me a BIG LOL, my Brother in Christ

You an di are speaking purely hypothetical and that being thru texting online

Since Paul and myself rely on the Holy Spirit, the words that would come out of me for that specific person(s) would be from the Holy Spirit
who searches the hearts and minds = of both myself and the person(s) who i would be addressing.

I’m sorry to hear that. I was being serious with you.

I’m talking about evangelism.

You told the Muslim flat out that you ”could care less” about what the Quran says. You lost any chance you might have had to win him over. That’s not the approach that Paul used in Athens, or anywhere else.

You should read it for yourself. You’ll find that there are things written in it that you’ll be able to agree with.
Even though Christians might agree with some things in it, the Quran still isn't the truth.

It seems an evil spirit in a cave influenced Mohammad....both about so-called Islam and also in his personal life which exhibited much evil.

Every Christian should.

… the Quran still isn't the truth.

It contains truth. Knowing those points of mutual agreement facilitates dialogue.

My paternal grandmother read the Bible daily. One day she read it, closed it, and had a sad look on her face. I‘d seen her read the Bible many times before (I was blessed to receive her Bible as an inheritance) but never seen her look sad about it. I asked her why she was sad and she in turn asked me, “Why does God allow evil stories to be included in the Bible?”

Of course. If you asked a Muslim they should tell you the same thing.
Muslims need the Holy Spirit to help reveal the truth of Jesus Christ to them.

So many Muslims, for a long time, are having dreams and visions about Jesus Christ. They then believe on Jesus Christ as their Savior.

One Muslim woman said she had three dreams about Jesus. She even quoted Jesus "I am the way, the truth and the life" in her dream.... without ever hearing that verse before.

I’m a Jewish monotheist. Great evil is spoken by many Christians against Jewish monotheism. There are still “Christian” members of the Board who vehemently object to my presence here, even in the few forums which are available for members like me to post in.

The Quran contains truth which every Christian can and should agree with. Truth is truth wherever truth is found.

”I couldn’t care less about what the Quran says” is very close to “I couldn’t care less that there is truth in the Quran.”

I’ve never yet had a Muslim tell me that there is no truth in the Bible. If one ever does then there would be no starting place for inter-faith discussion between us.

But if you talk to a Muslim apologist, they will tell you that the Bible is corrupted. Which, of course, is not true.

This has information so I'll post it here for anyone's perusal:

That’s right. (Others besides Muslims will too.) Be prepared.

“Loving communication celebrates and does not deny areas of agreement where they exist. … Though Christianity and Islam, for instance, are vastly different, they are not without important similarities. … In any event, it is normally possible to find some common ground where we engage in dialogue, to discover things to talk about and things to share.”

(Clark H. Pinnock, A Wideness in God’s Mercy, pp. 139, 140)

This is what I mean when I say that I / we should meet people where they are.

Matthias, you might find this interesting. Godlogic ministering to Muslims and a couple of others in Times Square NYC. The first Muslim he talks with accepts the Lord Jesus as his Savior (first part of video).

The real ministering starts at 39 minutes with him talking about the Islamic Dilemma. The Muslim he leads to Christ comes shortly after that.

When I first played the video I didn't think I'd watch it all. But once the ministering started, it was really interesting and I watched it all.

Everyone was respectful and quiet while even the Muslims were speaking. And that was in Times Square.
