Granted, wars have occurred for thousands of years. So why would Jesus even answer a question with such a broad time frame? I would have said, yes, yes, wars will occur... can you be more specific Jesus? Actually He was, in Matthew 24:14. And this has recently neen accomplished. This is the last generation. The pestilence, wars and famine have never caused death to 1/4 of the population in such a short 3 1/2 year period. The wars pestilence and famine in 20th century saw death to1-2% of the population.

Because he was showing what was NOT asign!

Matthew 24:4-6
King James Version

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Jesus said these are just events happening in the course of this age but not signs of the end.

The Russian/Ukraine war may seem like any other, but will likely set iff a chain reaction. It's spiritual..God restrains evil but during the GT, the Restrainer is taken out of the way and all hell breaks loose.
In no other time in history has the entire world been under this diabolical power dictated by the elites. The Antichrist is at the helm, he just hasn't been revealed yet - another year or so. He was given a crown (coronavirus) and he went out to conquer and that is ehat has happened. Through fear of a virus, lies and deception, the world succumbed to their mandates.
Now I just read today, every citizen of the NWO will be microchipped by 2026 - or so they plan, claims Klaus Schwab. That is what many suspected, the mark of the Beast.

This war may ormay not set off a chain of events. Time will tell. We are still not at the door of the GT. Several things MUST happen first before the antichrist is revealed. He may be in politics/ military now, but he is still a minor player. the one world govt. must happen and the ten kings, and then the antichrist moves, conquers three and gains world dominion.

Jesus said these are just events happening in the course of this age but not signs of the end.

Lets do plain speak. Jesus had just told the disciples that their beloved temple would soon be destroyed. And naturally the disciples wanted to know when, and they therefore added in, what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the world ?(Age of man)

So, Jesus being God knows they are conflating the coming 70 AD with the end of time, of course he did not tell them it would be 70 AD but he basically told them it would be in their lifetimes, because he was speaking directly unto them. So, Matt. 24 until verse 15 can nor does have anything to do with the end tine 70th week tribulation.

1.) Jesus needs to show them 70 AD is not THE END (Tribulation Period/Second Coming)

2.) Jesus needs to tell them firmly, and in a matter of fact tone that they they will all be killed for his names sake, and that they must endure until the end [of their lives]

3.) Jesus them must tell them what brings the end or 70th week tribulation, which then brings forth the Second coming and an end to the age of man.

So, how does he do this? firstly, he must get them to understand that the 70 AD events they will see ate not the 70th week end. Secondly, he has to tell them that they are all going to have to die (save John) so they will be prepared to lay down their lives instead of fearing death. Thus they had 30-50 years to prepare for all this. Then he has to tell them what brings the 70th week, then explain the 70th week unto them.

So, Matt. 4-6 is specifically about the 70 AD events, thus Jesus said don't worry, the end is by and by, when you hear that messianic figures are in Jerusalem, ignore it, the end will be BY & BY.

Then in verse 7-14 he explains that they will be in the Church Age Period with many wars over many years, and much pestilence and famine, so its far way from this time point, and it will be as birth pangs with everything getting worse and worse...BUT as per you guys, thee will be false prophets ?(maybe Jupiter Worshipers who despised the Gospel) and they will hate you, and have you put to death, but you MUST ENDURE until the end [of ones life]. And when you see the gospel preached unto all the whole world, only then will the END COME (70th week tribulation).

Then in verses 15-31 we see the 70th week tribulation.

They are only setting up the Pre-tribbers for their false 'fly away' milk bottle.

Jesus said as long as we hear of wars and rumors of wars, to not be troubled, because the END is NOT YET. That means... we'd best get ready for the END because that is when we need to be troubled. Why? Because the END means the time of "great tribulation" He warned us about.

What supposed to happen at that END? A time of "Peace and safety", chicken in every pot IF... you will only bow in false worship to the coming fake Messiah.

For the times leading up to the "great tribulation", Jesus called it the "beginning of sorrows" (Matthew 24). That is the time of wars, rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, etc.

It's the time immediately after that, of "Peace and safety" that will be the time of greatest danger for us, because of the then requirement to bow to the "image of the beast" or be killed (Revelation 13).

How should we understand the strife happening now then? It's just a lead up of the pimple in order to prepare it to pop! When it pops, that's when they will present the false Messiah as God, and he will come working miracles claiming to fix all the world's problems!

This is quite humorous. But the fact remains that the Pre-Tribulation Rapture is the only true Bible doctrine. That is why Christ said "Let not your heart be troubled" (John 14:1).

I have to argue that point about Pre-trib being a true doctrine. My God Jesus Christ says different in Matthew 24:29-31 and Mark 13:24-27, where He declared His coming and gathering of His saints is AFTER the tribulation.

But of course those on the false Pre-trib Rapture theory from men are scared of those Scriptures directly out of Christ's Mouth, so they steer clear of them, no doubt as you will also.

It does not say after the great tribulation. It says after the tribulation of those days. The word great is not found in the verse:

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:"

Those days of tribulation started 1992 years ago. Did you not read verses 4-14? Do you dismiss them as days of tribulation? No one is pre-trib. That was the Cross. The tribulation of those days started with the persecution after Jesus ascended into heaven and the day of Pentecost. The church has had near non stop persecution for 1992 years. The Second Coming brings an immediate end to the church's persecution. The church is removed at the Second Coming. Then there is the final harvest, and the angels are on earth, and this is the time of the greatest tribulation ever. All mankind has to physically die. All have to face judgment who were not the church. The sheep given eternal life, the goats eternal damnation. Then later the Thunders will sound and the wheat and the tares will be harvested and judged. When the 7th Trumpet sounds, only then may an AoD be allowed. There may still be souls who need to be harvested by being beheaded. You really look forward to that period of beheaded souls instead of the rapture at the Second Coming? The only choice at that point is to cut off one's head. Headless bodies are not raptured. Headless bodies are resurrected in Revelation 20:4 after Satan is bound in the pit. The rapture is not about Headless bodies. The final harvest is not about Headless bodies. The only mention of Headless bodies is during Satan's 42 months, and then the end. Armageddon is not the Second Coming. Armageddon is the end of Satan’s 42 months, after the final harvest of the angels: Matthew 13. The angels come to earth at the Second Coming, not years prior to a Second Coming. And not at Armageddon, either.

Sorry, but your Bible interpretation above is all over the place, and goes against what is actually written. And I never said, "great tribulation" anyway, so your mind must be set to automatic repeat of what some preacher told you, instead of you thinking for yourself.

Yes you claim after some future tribulation. Well the tribulation started in the first century, so it is not a future tribulation. Those who claim a future tribulation is who you condemn. So you don't claim a future great tribulation? That is great, no?

So, Matt. 24 until verse 15 can nor does have anything to do with the end tine 70th week tribulation.

And you know this how? It is a safe assumption, but an assumption.

1.) Jesus needs to show them 70 AD is not THE END (Tribulation Period/Second Coming)

No Jesus needed to show them the signs that are the end times. THE Abomination entering the temple is the big sign!

2.) Jesus needs to tell them firmly, and in a matter of fact tone that they they will all be killed for his names sake, and that they must endure until the end [of their lives]

agreed

3.) Jesus them must tell them what brings the end or 70th week tribulation, which then brings forth the Second coming and an end to the age of man.

Jesus did not say what starts the 7 year trib or Daniels 70th week. Daniel under inspiration did.

So, Matt. 4-6 is specifically about the 70 AD events, thus Jesus said don't worry, the end is by and by, when you hear that messianic figures are in Jerusalem, ignore it, the end will be BY & BY.

Not really. these are general events in the present church age. #0-70 Ad was not marked by many false Messiahs, nor many wars or rumors of wars

Not really these are specific types of wars and specific famines (the horsemen)

I have great peace (internally) and no level of external conflict can take my peace! Besides The church as ambassadors of Christ may be called back home before the antichrist begins his ride.
No man can take our joy . whether we live its for the LORD and whether we die its only gain .
Nothing that can come against us can strip our JOY from CHRIST . Not even prison or threat of death can move a lamb .
For our hope is not in our external cirumstances , nor what we have or have not in this world .
ITS IN THE LORD . ITS IN THE GLORIOUS LORD and we await HIS PROMISE . HE WILL RETURN for the lambs and we will be HOME .
But do be prepared to lose all . Remember in this world ye shall have tribulation , OH BUT LAMBS ARE OF GOOD CHEER
FOR JESUS HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD . And lambs have overcome them , for greater is HE in the lambs than He of this world .
WE WIN NO MATTER WHAT . whether we live its simply to live for Christ and point to HIM and if we die
We are , as paul would say , IN THE FAR BETTER . ITS A WIN FOR THE LAMBS . CAUSE JESUS ALREADY WON .
Now let all that draws breath , leap up and let the glorious LORD be praised . THE LORD IS OUR HELPER
and we shall not fear what man can do to us .

I disagree with you, and so does God's written Word disagree with you.

The "great tribulation" Jesus warned His about has NOT yet started, and is only for the very end of this world.

Lord Jesus specifically tied the "great tribulation" He warned of with the Signs of the end He gave in His Olivet discourse. Those Signs are what He commanded His faithful Church to be watching leading up to His future return (Matthew 24:15-21; Mark 13; Luke 21, all paralleled to the Seals of Revelation 6).

Those who claim a future tribulation is who you condemn. So you don't claim a future great tribulation? That is great, no?

That false idea of me condemning is a show of bearing false witness. Whatever credibility you had just went in the dump.

Jesus is Who showed the time of "great tribulation" is for the VERY END OF THIS WORLD.

One thing i do know , the COMING OF KING JESUS draws nigh .
REPENT and believe the gospel . Get JESUS out to all that has breath .
Work while we still have the time to do so . Once that door is shut , once the master of the
House has risen up and closed the door , ALL OUTSIDE will wail .
Time is running out . The betrayer of the lambs is in this world and shall convince the we are one
crowd to rid the earth of all who conform not . A strong delusion is moving throughout the worlds
the nations , the govts , the churches , the false religoins . Its leading all to unite for sake of unity
and to be one . And it wont be under GOD , but under the dragon and the beast whom the dragon
gives his seat too . This delusion is uniting all religoins and secular too . It has denied JESUS
as the only way to GOD and instead speaks of diversity and many paths . Its father is the father of lies the dragon .
Its love is cold as ice and full of hate and desires death and not life . ANY LOVE
that points not to JESUS as the only means of salvation , WELL IT AINT LOVE , ITS DRAGON LOVE and that aint love

The following is not my idea, it is Lord Jesus revealing the time of "great tribulation" being for the end of this world...

Matt 24:15-21
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)

Jesus was giving His disciples and His Church, the Signs of the end leading up to His future return. He made that AOD event from the Book of Daniel a time marker for the start of the "great tribulation".

That AOD event is still future to us, and requires a standing Jewish temple in Jerusalem for that abomination idol to be placed in. This is what the Book of Daniel reveals about endtime Jerusalem. Nor can anyone say Jesus was pointing back in 165 B.C. history to Antiochus, because Antiochus Epiphanes was already dead when about two hundred years later Jesus gave this AOD prophecy from the Book of Daniel.

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

KJV

Verse 21 reveals that "then", when those above events happen, THAT... will be a time of "great tribulation". And He described that time with, "such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." That kind of description for that specific "great tribulation" was also prophesied in the Book of Daniel for the end...

Dan 12:1
12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

KJV

Even the last statement in the above Daniel 12:1 verse reveals that is a specific time at the very end just prior to Christ's return to deliver those who's names are written in that book.

Thus the "great tribulation" Jesus taught is about a SPECIFIC TIME of the end of this world, and NOT for any other time of history. Those men you listen to that try to say it started back in history are teaching falseness against the written Scripture.

I hope so.
No man can take our joy . whether we live its for the LORD and whether we die its only gain .
We will find out.

Our faith will be tested. We do have the peace that Jesus gives. The time will come when that is all we will have.
It is easy to be at peace when we are physically safe and at peace as well. In the USA, we are rich, a roof over our heads, as much food as we want, heck half of us are obese. I'm retired in a new home, no debts - life is easy - life is good. Many Christians throughout the world are in poverty, running scared, no food, no roof over their heads because they are at war and fled for safety, living in a subway, homeless, refugees who also had lives and now are turned upside down. When bombs are going off and your kids are starving and crying then your faith will be tested. Then when they say, they have inner peace like Paul did, and are joyfully singing to the Lord, I'll believe it. I also think my faith is strong and I will see too.

I agree it is the end. It happens between the Second Coming and the 7th Trumpet. The 7th Trumpet is the very end.

No, it does not. The "great tribulation" event only... happens prior to Christ's 2nd coming and the 7th Trumpet.

1. "great tribulation"
2. "day of the Lord" with Christ's 2nd coming, and sound of the 7th Trumpet.

In that order.
