Question, Did Jesus' shed blood on the cross pay for all the sins of the world?
John 3:16 ~ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

...no

Since your answer is no then how are they paid for?

Rom 3:23-26
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
NKJV

Rom 5:8-9
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
NKJV

Eph 1:7
7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
NKJV

Eph 2:13
13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
NKJV

Col 1:13-14
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
NKJV

Col 1:20
20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
NKJV

Heb 10:19
19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
NKJV

Heb 10:28-29
28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
NKJV

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

As above we see Jesus is the propitiation for sin. Yet we must stay ever aware that without faith we are unable to reconcile with God and His wrath abides on us.

19 Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;
20 because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for bthrough the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
Justification by Faith
21 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;
23 for all ahave sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;
25 whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation bin His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed;
26 for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
27 Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.
28 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.
29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,
30 since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one.
31 Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law.

Thanks for your reply.

This is what I have been saying. Every man, woman and child has a pardon for their sins but the only way to get it is to believe it exists.

One thing we must not forget. When we accept Christ as our saviour, our past sins are forgiven. If we return to sinning, we run a great risk of losing our salvation. Those who Christ loves, will be chastised for any new sins they may commit, so if we know we have sinned, we have to be ready for some form of chastisement. We must always seek forgiveness for any new sins, and STOP committing these sins.

and STOP committing these sins.

What you've stated might be true for your followers, but not for Christ's.

If you think about it for a second or two I think you'll come to the realization
that in reality, the only plan of salvation that can have even the slightest
possibility of succeeding is one wherein one's performance is not a factor;
and that, at it's core, is the primo benefit of the new covenant.

The language of the new covenant as per Jer 31:31-34 and Ezek 36:24-27
contains several places where God says "I will" while containing zero places
where God says "If you will". In other words: the new covenant's benefits
are unconditional.

And best of all, God is not keeping track of the sins of the covenant's
beneficiaries to throw up at them at the Great White Throne event depicted
at Rev 20:11-15.

Jer 31:34 . . I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no
more.

2Cor 5:19 . . God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not
imputing their trespasses unto them

The Greek word for "impute" is logizomai (log-id'-zom-ahee) which means to
keep an inventory; in other words: an indictment; which Webster's defines
as an official written statement charging a person with crimes; for example:

Rev 20:12 . . I saw the dead, the great and the lowly, standing before the
throne, and scrolls were opened. Then another scroll was opened, the book
of life. The dead were judged according to their deeds, by what was written
in the scrolls.

Those poor tragic dead that John saw in his vision somehow failed to get
themselves protected by the new covenant and that's why they end up
answering to the contents of the scrolls.

But Christ's followers are in no danger of that.

John 5:24 . . I assure you: Those who listen to my message, and believe
in God who sent me, have eternal life. They will never be condemned for
their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.

FYI: There is no such thing as "new" sins for Christ's followers. He died for
their entire natural life, not just a portion of their natural life.

Rom 6:3 . .Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into
Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

Rom 6:6 . .Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him

Gal 2:20 . .I am crucified with Christ

Col 3:3 . .For you died when Christ died

Q: Then why do Christ's followers have to confess their sins as per 1John
1:5-10?

A: The theme of that passage is not salvation; it's fellowship; which is
translated from the Greek word koinonia (koy-nohn-ee'-ah) which essentially
means partnership. In other words; confession is key to a satisfactory
personal relationship with God

Q: What happens to Christ's followers who pass on with unconfessed sin?

A: Those sins do not accompany his followers to the other side because
according to Jer 31:34 and 2Cor 5:19, God is not keeping track of them.
