In Ezekiel 28:16-17, it describes the king of Tyrus as a cherub (an angel) that God is going to destroy, and also cast him to the ground (down to earth), and expose him before kings, that they will actually see him.
In Revelation 12:7-9, Satan will be cast down to earth.
So there is plenty of biblical evidence that the king of Tyrus is a code name for Satan.
1. There is plenty of biblical evidence that Tyrus is the name of a a city
All the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles which are beyond the sea, -- Jeremiah 25:22 (KJV)
All the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon; all the kings of the coastlands along the sea; (Jeremiah 25:22 [NETfree])
2. In Revelation 12:7-9, Satan was cast down to earth - when Jesus ascended to heaven.
3. Tyre / Tyrus was a city on earth, and it was not the holy mountain of God, and God's prophet (as prophets so often did) was using analogy and allegory comparing the glory of the king of Tyre to his fall, and Satan is not even mentioned:
Ezekiel 28:12 "Son of man, sing a lament for the king of Tyre .."
The king of Tyre was not Satan. Satan was not the king of Tyre.
".. and say to him, 'This is what the sovereign LORD says:"'You were [analogy and allegory starts here - and this is a song of lament] the sealer of perfection, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone was your covering, the ruby, topaz, and emerald, the chrysolite, onyx, and jasper, the sapphire, turquoise, and beryl; your settings and mounts were made of gold. On the day you were created they were prepared. I placed you there with an anointed guardian cherub; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked about amidst fiery stones. You were blameless in your behavior from the day you were created, until sin was discovered in you. In the abundance of your trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned; so I defiled you and banished you from the mountain of God - the guardian cherub expelled you from the midst of the stones of fire." (Ezekiel 28:12-16 [NETfree])
4. A cherub is a specific type of angel in scripture, which
(a) Guards the way to the tree of life; and
(b) Covers the mercy seat (lid of Atonement) in the Tabernacle of God, where the life Himself - the presence of God Himself - appeared.
The (human) king of Tyre (the subject of Ezekiel 28) was not a cherub - and neither is Satan. The prophet was using analogy and allegory comparing the glory of the king of Tyre to his fall, and Satan is not even mentioned.
