Hello to you, was not sure where to post this,
The ups and down struggles even as a Christian is a reality.
The mysteries of God are founded within the Bible, and they are available just about everywhere.
It is very hard to get into, and most people would rather listen to someone speak about it (as long as they are not being condemning of others or judgmental.)
I do believe it’s good to speak truth in love and gentleness and consideration of what is right over what is wrong.
I don’t believe it is a good thing to do to judge or condemn a human being at all because all of us are flesh and blood and have liberty to do and choose whatever one will do in this life, and all of have made mistakes in this life no matter how perfect a person may try to present themselves as.
Though still even so, to have rest and peace in your soul that comes by and through seeking out the Lord is far more valuable than any drug, sex, alcohol, or any other high you could think of.
People make their own decisions and I’ll love you and respect you no matter what you may choose to do, because that is what a Christian is called to do.
““Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”
Matthew 22:36-39 NKJV
“He or Her who gets wisdom loves his or Her own soul; He or Her who keeps understanding will find good.”
Proverbs 19:8 NKJV
Your soul is the heart/mind/will/emotion.
When life is going array and it is so hectic and you just feel like giving up, and you give in to your flesh and start becoming bitter, cold, mean, disrespecting other people, hating, judging, and blaming everyone else for your problems when you are not cross examining yourself: that is the darkness taking over the soul and that is where a person should find time if they choose to in seeking out for the Lord for Jesus is the light of all of mankind, and he is able to take you out of that dominion of darkness, if you make the choice to seek after him.
That choice of course is totally up to you friend.
God bless you and your families, may you be kept safe you are traveling this coming holiday season.
