Account Genesis chapter 3.

After the creation, and Adam and Eve had been created. Here comes the fall of mankind which involved the serpent had come upon on the scene. He came telling a lie to Eve, questioning God in what was told unto (Genesis 2:15-19) what was said to them by LORD God commanded about not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil for the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die.

The serpent was more crafty than any of the animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the Garden'? In which she replied " We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'

"You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like (in understanding of) God, knowing good and evil."

Afterwards, When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took from it and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he did eat. Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they realized they were naked; and so they sew fig leaves together and made coverings from themselves.

So, at this point there has been a lot going on here in the Garden.

With the serpent coming and asking Eve a question, and she seemingly has forgotten what the Lord God had said to her previously, maybe in wonderance of the new earth that had been created, and amazed by all of the wonderance of this Garden that was created by God, (be it how you might imagine it looking everyone has differing views of what it might look like).

Eve went to the tree, and looked and she saw how pleasing it was to the eyes, and saw it as desirable for gaining knowledge, so she partook then gave to her husband in which also partaken. Now they are in understanding of good and evil, and have become of understanding of what God already had knew. Their eyes were open to this and they have now sown fig leaves, to cover up their shame and guilt.

What I find interesting about it Matt, is that Eve was deceived, but Adam was not, and it was his sin that lost life for his offspring.

Good morning Robert Gwin. Adam also is not mentioned to many more times afterwards, compared to Eve either. Thank you for your comment, it is good to hear from you.

~~~~~~~~~~ Going to post a second part
Journal #2
The serpent was more crafty than any of the animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the Garden'?
So the serpent was made by the Lord God, and was more crafty out of every single animal that had been created. The serpent was able to speak somehow, not sure why, though it is commonly know that the serpent is the Devil/Satan ~ Which God created; and Satan had dominion in heaven at first, until He decided that He no longer had a desire to be in heaven. (Maybe Satan was looking at God was doing, by creating Adam, that he also desired to go and be down there with them instead, and became in enraged by this and left heavenly realms down to earth in the form of a serpent. Which could speak that the woman understood what the serpent was saying.
The serpent asked the woman "Did God really say, ' You must not eat from any tree in the Garden'?
In which she replied " We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'
The woman replied to the serpent ' We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, "You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die'.
It seems that the woman had forgotten what the Lord God had said; maybe being perplexed by a talking serpent, that it had distracted her mind, by the question in which she mentions that God said you must not touch it, or you will surly die. Which was not the truth, God told them to not eat, or they shall surely die partaking from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
"You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like (in understanding of) God, knowing good and evil."
The serpent said to the woman; "You will not certainly die". For God knows when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like (in understanding of) God, knowing good and evil.
Notice how crafty this serpent is. The serpent already knows about good and evil, and has made a choice to come from his spot he once roamed down to earth instead to rule because it is desirable to him. He goes on to tell the woman ' You will not certainly die ', ~ God said for you shall surely die ~
The serpent goes on to say ' For God knows that when you eat from it your eye will be opened, and you will be like (in understanding of ) God knowing good and evil. The serpent has already been with God, then has been seemingly came down to earth in which he is conversing with the woman in the garden. Explaining to her that if she partakes of that fruit; she will be in understanding of good and evil which God knows about already.
