desire and want have the same meaning so this poll makes no sense.

want
verb (used with object)1.
to feel a need or a desire for; wish for:
to want one's dinner; always wanting something new.

2.
to wish, need, crave, demand, or desire (often followed by an infinitive):
I want to see you. She wants to be notified.

desire
verb (used with object), desired, desiring.1.
to wish or long for; crave; want.

2.
to express a wish to obtain; ask for; request:
The mayor desires your presence at the next meeting.

...following a Jewish carpenter...
Not sure what you're trying to accomplish here, Thirdeye.

I would have said that the two options were to either
a. resist temptation and keep one's body under control
or
b. give into our carnal desires at the expense of our soul

Hey....sometimes the choice, which seems so obvious when you spell it out like that, can be tougher than we imagine....

Desires and wants are attributes of our flesh. God's desires differ significantly. The bible teaches us that when the Lord is our shepherd...we shall not be in want. Psalm 23:1

Adam and eves fall was due to seeing their desire for a learning relationship as good and evil. Good and evil are want and both lead you to death. Once you see your desire as neither good or evil you can then have a normal learning relationship and enter into life.

I don't trust peoples realities when the evidence for their truth claims are based on a aberration.

Ok time to go biblical on you.

Psalm 37:4
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Do you think desire is still bad?

That makes no sense. Desire and want have the same meaning (which I have proven) so your poll is nonsensical.
