Praying that you take every negative thought captive, that as you grow and mature in Christ, you recognise the negative thoughts, before they can take hold,.....read his word on how to deal with negative thoughts.....
For myself, I had to understand the negative thoughts, then God’s word could help me rebuke them as soon as they came into my thought pattern....not saying I’m perfect in that area,Brother, .....I still get those thoughts, nothing like they used to be.....they used to bombard my mind and drive me crazy..
It’s all about totally relying on God, imo......Praying for you....

Mel, always remember to meditate on the good in your life, rather than on your difficulties.
8Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Praying that God always be with you in thoughts and in deeds directing your ways..
You need to learn to not hold things against others in here that have not spoken what you like. It is easily seen for a while now in your failure to acknowledge various posts with a like. And yet they are praying for you, and wanting the best for you and your family. This is called unforgiveness in the eyes of The Lord. Forgive them as you have been forgiven. And then your thoughts will be better. I'll take my warning points now for the sake of Mel.
