1 John 5:6-8

King James Version

6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

That came by water and blood is talking about the witness in the earth of Christ who died on the cross, the water and blood came out when pierced by the spear showing he had died. Blood congeals and the water separates out of it.

While in His earthly ministry, the Spirit bore witness to Christ, that He was God's only begotten Son. It is the Spirit which gives life, and gave life to the people believing in Christ.

Example, John 3

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Colossians 2
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in HIM dwelleth ALL the FULNESS of the GODHEAD BODILY.

Amen
