I can't stop thinking about the millstone.

Not the metaphor. The object. A massive stone hung around someone's neck as they're thrown into the sea. Jesus said that's the preferred fate for anyone who harms a child. He didn't whisper it. He didn't soften it. He said it would be better to die that violent death than to face what comes after for those who make little ones stumble.
Now look at what we've done.

We separated thousands of children from their parents at the border. We used their trauma as policy—as deterrence. We put kids in cages and called it sovereignty. And then we wrapped it in the cross and asked God to bless America.

Jesus would not salute that flag. He would not stand for that anthem of Christian nationalism that fuses his holy name with barbed wire and executive orders. The same Jesus who said "let the little children come to me" watched his own followers try to keep children away—and the text says he was indignant. Furious. How furious do you think he is now?

The Temptation We Accepted
Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world. Every throne, every border, every wall. Jesus said no. He didn't come to rule an empire. He came to build a kingdom where the first are last, where power looks like a towel and a basin, where greatness is measured by how low you can stoop to serve.
But we took the deal he refused.

We decided America was the new Israel and our political party was the new covenant. We traded the Sermon on the Mount for a rally in an arena. We baptized nationalism and called it revival. We replaced the fruit of the Spirit with the hunger for dominance. And the pulpit became a podium.
That's not the Gospel. That's idolatry wearing a prayer shawl.

By Their Fruit
Jesus gave us one test: fruit.
Not slogans. Not "God Bless America" at the end of a speech. Not photo ops with a Bible held upside down if you can't find the book of Matthew without help.

Fruit.
What fruit comes from separating a nursing infant from their mother? What fruit comes from calling nations "shithole countries" while the Bible demands we welcome the stranger? What fruit comes from a senator who names the name of Christ with her mouth while her record writes trauma checks the cross already paid for?
That's not a good tree. And the axe is already at the root.

To Marsha Blackburn and Every Politician Who Uses Jesus
You don't get to invoke the name of the homeless, brown-skinned, refugee Savior to justify policies that crush the homeless, brown-skinned refugee at the door. You don't get Matthew 25 and a border wall. You don't get the great commission and "America First." You don't get to speak at prayer breakfasts while the children you helped orphan are still crying for parents they'll never see again.

Jesus said "whatever you did to the least of these, you did to me."
That means Christ himself was in that detention center.
Christ himself was the child stripped from their father's arms.

The Verdict Is Already Written
I'm not pronouncing judgment. Jesus already did. He told us exactly what he'll say on that day: "Depart from me. I never knew you."

Not because they didn't prophesy in his name. Because they didn't feed the hungry, welcome the stranger, or visit the imprisoned.

The Christian nationalist movement has built an entire theology around power, and Jesus is standing at the door knocking—and the door is locked from the inside.
He's not knocking to bless the project. He's knocking to overturn the tables.

So I'm asking you, church:

Which Jesus do you serve?
The one who rode a donkey and washed feet—or the one you've remade in the image of a president?
The one who said "blessed are the peacemakers"—or the one you've enlisted to bless your culture war?
The one who said it's better to drown with a millstone than harm a child—or the one whose name you invoke while those children still haven't come home?
You cannot serve two masters.

My interest IS “DATES”… curiously missing.

Trumps Reputation was/is long standing and well known, for dealing in business ventures AND his attraction to beautiful “women”.

Minor “girls”… “sneaking off”…or were they informing their parents of some great business offer they were being recruited for?

Sensible? No.

If you want it, you have to work for it.
Learn to do something, or make something, be productive and you too can rise above the slave mentality.

I've had more than enough, and I've had less then I need.
And I found I am completely comfortable where I am.
I didn't come into this world with government handouts.
My dad worked hard as a furniture delivery and household mover.
At 15 I went to work answering phones as a customer service and scheduling deliveries for my dad, who had gone from being an employee to being an owner of a company that owned his own trucks.

My dad was sold some property by his mother when he was young. And every year, little by little, dollar by dollar, he built a summer home for us to enjoy. That's where I am now.

Now my dad, he didn't get past the 7th grade. And he grew up where if you was lucky you was sent to school with a biscuit and a little jam.
His dad died from liver disease when he was just a kid. SO my grandma had to raise 3 children on her own.

You can do it if you want to. You have to want to.
Anyone can be an Elon Musk.
Unless you keep telling yourself you can't.

My husband and I owned a 3 family apartment building in Boston, and then bought a home on an acre of land in the beautiful State of NH.
Nobody gave it to us. We worked for it.
People should worry about what's in their own cupboard instead of complaining what's in someone else's.
My 2nd husband and I bought our own 18 wheeler with a flatbed trailer and travelled from sea to shining sea transporting mostly military loads of steal and wheels (Humvees, jeeps, tanks)
We bought a spot in sunny Florida and was doing very well until Hurricane Irma came and washed it all away.

Nothing is guaranteed in this life.
But if you want it, that's up to you to make it true.

You know how many people he employs? You know how many people have become wealthy because of Musk's ability to produce working environments. How many people did he save sending StarLink to NC during that devastating flood?
And not just in the States, he has given away starlink to people a=who were stranded around the world with limited or denied access to be able to communicate with family and friends.

Everybody Loved Elon and his Electric Cars. until they decided to torch them and his facilities too.

I am twice widowed, and I take care of the man who built the house in which I live.
