Overcome evil with good? Love your enemies? Do good to those who hate you? Pray for those who despitefully use you? Turn the other cheek? Etc etc. You are confusing the church with kingdoms/governments of this world. Jesus' kingdom is NOT of this world.......if it were, then would His servants fight.
That's half the Gospel. Jesus kingdom will be of this world and his servants will fight.
  • Jesus will rule on earth with a rod of iron. Revelation 2:27
Revelation 2:24-29
24 “I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, those who have not held to the teachings of Jezebel and who remain ignorant of the real meaning of what is called the deep things of Satan, I will not burden you with anything more. 25 Just keep on task, and keep the faith until I return.

26 “And as for those who conquer through faithfulness even unto death and continue to labor with Me until the close of the final curtain, I will give them authority over the nations.
27 And they will rule the nations with an iron scepter,
as fragile clay jars are shattered to pieces.[a]
As I received this authority from My Father, 28 I will bestow the morning star to the victor.

29 “Let the person who is able to hear, listen to and follow what the Spirit proclaims to all the churches.”

Jesus is called the son of David precisely because his political kingdom will be of this world and his political title of 'king of kings' cannot be denied.
  • Matthew 1:1 An account[a] of the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah,[c] the son of David, the son of Abraham.
[*]Notice that although Abraham came first, David is listed as the first ancestor. David, represents the political kingdom of this world and Abraham represents the priestly authority (in the line of Melchizedek)

And most sad of all, is your denial that God's ultimate plan of solving the problem of evil is the violent annihilation in the Lake of Fire and Second Death.

They will never respond to an actual statement.
They can't, for the simple reason they know they are wrong with all their 'Christian War Mongering'.

Should help be given to defend the people in Nigeria from getting slaughtered?
We do live in the world, even though we rather be somewhere else.
But while we're here,
Should we defend our neighbors, our friends, our allies?
or just look the other way?
Do you believe we should rally together an army from the churches.....and send Christians overseas to kill one people in order to defend another people? That isn't what the church is for. We aren't that kind of army.

What we can do is be praying and asking God to intervene.......if it is His will and wisdom to do so. It isn't always. There are times when suffering and injustices are allowed by Him.

Jesus said His kingdom is NOT of this world but is within us. And the rod of iron is the rod of His mouth......His word (sword), including rebuke when necessary.

So, in what manner do you believe God would intervene?

In any manner He wills. Whether to move another government to send an army, or to directly cause the murderers to stop their murdering, or to send a Christian army to spread the gospel and change hearts that way. Or all of the above. It's always up to the Lord and His wisdom how or if He will answer prayers.

You’re still on milk, not able to digest the meat of the soul-filled Gospel. Repeating the statement his kingdom is nor if this world is before the meat, before the 2nd Coming where he becomes the king if kings of this world. Isn’t he supposed to rule THIS WORLD for 1,000 years?
