At the time of John's writing iron was the strongest substance know to man. Love equates to iron.
God's rule is one of love. It is a rule contrary to the logic of man.
God rule of love is stronger than the earthen pots of domination and control.

That representation of the view being presented is quite extreme and lacks balance.
Judgement, punishment and hell are all part of Jesus' teaching.
However, love is more powerful and should be the main focus of the Gospel message we present.

You either haven't heard the Good News or you don't want to know it....even rejected it in favour of mans projection of himself onto God......making God in mans image.
