Why did I post the video?
Because if you say something is so, a lot of times they don't believe what you say, you have to show them.
I'm not against any religion. I believe there are millions of sincere Catholics in the world who love our Lord Jesus.
Just as people in the United States love our country, but the leadership is questionable.
Not every person who says they follow christ do. Many of them have their own agenda that are opposite of Christlike.
Over the years the Catholic church... the establishment, not the laypeople, have become kind of like Nebuchadnezzar in the Old Testament.
They believe that what they are given rulership is of their own making and they become prideful. They can do no wrong, and everything they proclaim is truth.
The Catholic church does many good works, but the establishment, the government of it is not in alignment with the gospel.
And it say, it's not the good people that follow the Catholic religion whose purpose is pure at heart, but those that lead it have become wolves in sheeps clothing leading the flock astray.
And not the Catholic religion only, but all of them have been infiltrated by false teachings. Literally Satan has crept into most if not all religions today, changing doctrines that suit the whims of the world. I believe it is James that speaks of these things in the last days, preaching things to people with itching ears what they want to hear. Because they afraid if they go against what's popular in the world they will lose their standing in their eyes.
2Ti 4:3
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4
And they shall turn away
their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
We live in a world filled to the brim with propaganda and lies. It is getting very difficult to discern the truth anymore.
So many things have been turned upside down and twisted, only prayer and a right heart will keep us on the right path.
You can't trust what other people tell you to believe, you have to trust what Jesus says and listen to your heart.
Isa 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Isa 5:21
Woe unto
them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
You have to ask yourself, why would the Pope, the Shepherd of the Catholic Church allow such things to take place in the halls where the seat of Christ on which he sits is acceptable. Is it to find acceptance with the world? To be popular?
Or perhaps he is not a true shepherd, but indeed truly is a wolf in sheeps clothing leading the flock astray from our Lord.
Nothing is as it seems. We are going through some very intersting trials right now. They challenge our faith to God.
How many times in the OT did Israel leave God and turn to other gods of other nations? Time and time again they strayed because their shepherds were more interested in the things of the world than they were of the things of God.
All you can do is compare the scriptures with what you are being taught. Not so much in what they say, but what they do.
Because it's easier to speak the word than it is to do the word.
Mat 23:3
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe,
that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
Sometimes you can't be told, you have to be shown.
