If we can’t make a profit and we have maxed out the price of the finished good, we move the Chinese factory that produces the product to Viet Nam or some other country with lower tariffs.

Our profit does not change, we make the same amount of money as we were before the tariffs, we just pass the tariff down to the consumer. All global companies do the same.

So the tariffs are nothing but a hidden tax on the middle class. Thank you Donald Trump!

Long before President Trump we were getting ripped off by most countries charging tariffs on the products we sell in their countries.

President Trump is just trying to even the score. And yes it is a shock to those that are use to ripping us off. So there will be a period of unrest. Put eventually it will calm down. So will the prices.

Manufacturing companies aren’t moving manufacturing back to the US, they are moving there plants from China to other foreign nations with lower tariffs.
