Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. - John 12:24

I have often said through the years that this verse of the scripture is one of the most important for believers to understand because it has in it the principle of the seed. How a seed works, how it must be planted to bring forth fruit. In this case it is Jesus death on the cross that brings life, but the principle of the life out of death is how God operates. The same can be said about you, you were in him on the cross or better said "all in Adam" died when he died. Now resurrection life will only come from a birthing now "you must be born again." So way back in Genesis 3:15, when it is being told of two seeds, the one seed would bruise the heal (the cross, Christ death), and the other seed would end the newly entered federal head of humanity, by cruising its head (it would kill out, Satan sin nature-spirit) no more sin nature to those in Christ. No more Satan rule over humanity by the fallen nature by the one sinner from the beginning of creation.

If you have been stuck in the religious rhetoric of "what happened to the sin nature, is it out, do we still have a sin nature. This is the strongest verse you will have for understanding what happened on the cross. For the sin nature to be out and new Christ in you nature in, you must be born again. You must be in Christ, there is no new nature outside of Christ even with a cross. Nature only comes from a father through a birthing, really simple principle when scripture details it. Romans 7:1-5, takes a good look at the same principle, you have heard the saying "a leopard cannot change it's spots" neither can humanity change their nature any other way except through the cross and a birthing, glory! The failure of secular science will never be able to understand humanity, they can predict is how a person may react but they can never give a root problem.

So in essence they have no answer, but in fairness the Lord uses all things science included. There can be helps found in science just no final concluding answer for the ills of humanity. They disect the brain in certain individuals, they have for years struggled to give an answer but there is none for secular society.

The answer is written "except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone." There is no answer outside of the written word.

So true, death to the old, life to the new...Christ or self, one can not grow till the other is given over to death....as scripture says;

“reckon yourselves dead unto sin and alive unto God”....

The heart with the faith to believe this, is the heart that will know by experience.

Be blessed in Him, Not me

Addressing the OP. another good topic. I would like to make one point, and that you're on the right track.
The same can be said about you, you were in him on the cross or better said "all in Adam" died when he died.
that key word "IN", John 12:24 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit".

Fall INTO ... good ground/soil. that's why the work of the HUSBANDMAN, or a sower is so important. he or she is to culvitate the ground. a seed that Falls on the Ground unbroken can be taken away by the fowls, (the Evil ones). and that hard grown is just symbolic of our "hard hearts" that needs to be broken up. or as in the parble of the sower also, those stony hearts need to be rooted out of the ground/soil. and as those weeds, (our so-called friends, and habits), needs to be weeded out. so that the soil/ground can be good ground/soil to "fall INTO".

one must be "IN... TO", or get busy in christ Jesus. ... :)

be blessed.

Sorry to say so brother, but your mind is just all over the place.

The 'seed' idea Apostle Paul used in 1 Cor.15 about the resurrection isn't the same seed idea in Genesis 3 about the seed of the symbolic Woman. And the idea of being "born again" by The Spirit that our Lord Jesus was talking about does not mean the future resurrection, because that has yet to occur. But we are "born again" now when we believe on Jesus Christ as our Saviour and are baptized.

And where in the world does this "federal head of humanity" descriptor come from? That's simply men's doctrines, not Scripture at all. What does that even mean??? When covering God's Word we're to make it easy to understand, not create confusion.
