Seems through the years, what God is doing in the world has overshadowed his plan and purpose for believers. With everything that has gone on in this world from the time of inception - there has been a deception to lead away from the ultimate plan and purpose of God for creating all things. Things such as; the reason men live and breathe. The reason for creation! the ultimate of God creating a thing and becoming part of it.
With that in mind; the ultimate of God! If God had a very specific reason for creating all things - wouldn't we be interested in knowing something about that? When Jesus came 4000 years after the beginning of time as we know it - he talked about the ultimate of God for the first time. It had never been talked about before, it was never prophesied that God would birth his own children. According to Paul that was kept hid in God until he revealed it to Paul.
It was prophesied of the coming Messiah, a Savior of the world, the government would be upon his shoulder and you should call his name Emmanuel. But never was it prophesied in the Old testament that God would literally birth his own children. So in, John 3:3,
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. - John 3:3.
Jesus tells us for the first time in all creation what the ultimate plan and purpose of God was. Kept hidden in God until it was revealed to Paul.
