So let me clarify my understanding of what you are saying.
Your love is conditional, ie you will stop loving them when or if they break your conditions but at the same time sacrifice for them?
In other words, you will stop loving them but still sacrifice for them.
If this is the case it sounds contradictory to me.

I don't believe unconditional love is a thing. Everyone has conditions, even if one of them is just leave the one doing the loving alive. God has a standard or conditions for those He loves because He is love and knows what is best for us.

I would say what you have stated is superimposing your disposition onto God.

Sister, how do you see these scriptures fitting together?

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Romans 5:8
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Love and hate should be discernible. Nothing says love like throwing someone into the Lake of Fire for eternal punishment. Doesn't mean Jesus still didn't sacrifice for them; they just choose to discard the benefit of the sacrifice.

Agreed. I once told a Pastor that unconditional love is the biggest lie the church pushes. Compassion is unconditional; nothing is more conditional than love. We love virtue. The Pastor, like @quietthinker, has no answer to being caught in the lie. In Greek, I believe there are 8 words for love. Compassion, not love, is the word in English closest to what the Bible is talking about ... God had so much compassion for the world, that he sent his only begotten son.

I would say what you have stated is superimposing your disposition onto God.
And your position is NOT superimposing your disposition onto God? God's standard is totally conditional; IF you do what he says, THEN you will be saved. What are you talking about? God loves you so much, he lets you get away with anything? You confuse love with license.

Salvation is available to everyone because of His love. But He never forces anyone to receive His love. Jesus still weeps for those who choose to reject God's love. Scripture says that God will wipe away every tear ....future. Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Jesus died for us unconditionally. He gave His life for everyone knowing many wouldn't receive the free gift He paid for. This is unconditional love ....salvation is conditional, His love is not.
