Yes ..this is true, and Biblical ...as long as he isn't asking her to break God's laws or forcing her into situations that aren't Biblical (which are one and the same).
That's why we are to only marry in the Lord.

@TitusTwoWife ~ Just think of it this way, sister..
John wrote For God so loved the world that He sent His son... jo 3:16
Paul wrote- While we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly. Ro 5:8

Yes- He loved us while we were sinners. He did not show us hatred- He gave us LOVE. He blessed us with His Son.

Again- He hates the evil. But He absolutely blesses them also. I see that as loving them- don't you? while hating what they do.
We are to become more like Christ. He is the EXACT image of His Father. Paul said He was imitating Christ and we are to imitate Paul- (which means Christ) Which means the Father-- we are to bless and love others- HATE what they do but love them.
That is what our Father does also.
You see the wicked enjoying good things in their lives? You see them having children and grandchildren? They are gifts from God. Every good gift come down from the Father of lights.
We see material blessings too on the wicked. We see the rains- etc
God was good to me when I did not know Him. He should have squashed me like a bug- but He did not. He blessed me. Yes - In that sense- yes, He loves all of us.
Now that I believe- life has actually become full of trials and challenges- made to strengthen me, so that is love too. Those whom God loves- He disciplines, so the wicked may not receive discipline of God- but he does bless them. To me that's love. How can you call that hate?
I believe God is going to act according to His nature regardless of how wicked people are. I agree there. His nature is good and that never changes. I just don't see Him offering special covenant with Him free of conditions. His goodness is what blesses the wicked, nkt necessarily His love.

Why would He send His Son to die for people He didn't love? Why would Jesus give His life for people He didn't love? God can love while still being just. He doesn't take joy in the death in the wicked. His mercy extends to all as long as they're breathing. I don't think you can separate His mercy and goodness from His love.

So you see Him as good but not as love? I think that we will never be above God-- and LOVE is what we are commanded to do to all, right? even enemies? - How do we love them?
by being kind and good to others even though it is undeserved- blessing them anyway. and that is what He does.

We don't deserve salvation- it's by grace. No matter how good we are- we could never afford to say we earned it or deserve that. Impossible. We have nothing to boast about.

@TLHKAJ, this is one of the best posts from you that I’ve read. To put a fine point on it, no being can separate their actions from their nature. It’s that we tend to act based on a dominant aspect for the situation, be it charity, anger, mercy or justice. For instance, I saw my subordinates new baby last week - joy. tsml
