Unmuting God the Father

“God the Father himself never speaks in the Bible.”

Over the years I’ve encountered Christians who either say that the Father himself doesn’t speak in the Bible or that he seldom does. Jesus, they say, speaks incessantly in scripture. But the Father? He says nothing at all. Or, if he does, is reduced to a having a bit speaking role on a handful of occasions in the New Testament.

How would you respond to such a person?

How would you respond to such a person?

I would say to the person that he or she should not have allowed himself/herself to be indoctrinated with the belief that the Torah has been abolished, set aside, or done away with: for then the person might actually spend quality prayerful time reading and studying the Torah, and discover that the Father, (YHWH), speaks to Mosheh throughout the Torah, (and Mosheh then writes His words down). But for those who so loudly proclaim that "Jesus is YHWH", I dunno, they are not even Trinitarians but more like oneness-modalists, perhaps their indoctrination was more like cultic brainwashing than indoctrination.
