The first feeling after seeing this description is the ancient people who tied knots to remember things.

A door has been reserved for you, but it remains sealed until the appointed time. What looks shut is not denied, it's protected. The preparations are complete, but the season is not yet. Do not pull on the rope. Do not try to force entry. When God opens it, it will open easily and you will know that it was him.

Matthew 24:22 in the Bible states that
during a time of great tribulation, "unless those days were cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened," meaning God will intervene to limit intense suffering before His Son's return, saving His chosen people (the elect) from complete annihilation during the final days. This "shortening" is a divine act of mercy, preventing total destruction and ensuring the survival of the faithful.
Does not say how much the days will be shortened. Something to consider.

For some reason many people miss this, Jesus changed Daniel 12:8-13.
