Vision Of A Partially Built Tower

The watch tower in Luke 14:28-29 is a reference to the Temple in Jerusalem being attempted to be rebuilt during this present time.
Any attempt to rebuild the Temple will be the trigger that heralds the judgement of the kings of the earth at Armageddon which is descibed in the following verses from Luke 14: -
Paul also pointed to this same event after which he states that all of Israel will be saved.
Notes (a) A "tower" is a reference to a place where worship will take place. In the OT God build a vineyard and built a wall around it and place a tower in the midst of the vineyard.
28 Which of you, wishing to build a tower,(a) does not first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has the resources to complete it? 29 Otherwise, if he lays the foundation and is unable to finish the work, everyone who sees it will ridicule him, 30saying, ‘This man could not finish what he started to build.’

I thought about the temple too but since verses were given, the meaning becomes clear. The vision of the half-built tower means You or a person close to you started to follow Jesus but has not finished. Jesus is reminding you or them to stay faithful and keep building their life with Him. It’s a call to give up anything holding them back and not stop halfway. In short, to finish what was begun with Jesus and follow Him fully until the end. Something is left incomplete but the work must resume for the end is near.

I agree. That has been my understanding for a long time. But it might also be speaking a slightly different prophetic word to the Jews/Israel of that day....to finish "building" what the Law had only been leading to and laying the foundation for.....to seek terms of "surrender" to their spiritual King/Messiah, lest He pour out His wrath on them with His heavenly army. It seems that there are a number of things Jesus spoke to the unbelieving Jew first, then to the (mostly Gentile) church.
We who believe hear a slightly different message, and the Jews of that day heard something else.

for if a man has not faith in CHRIST JESUS then i say to us all THEY HAVE NOT FAITH IN GOD . and without
FAITH it is impossible to please him .

The tower is the church who has made a religion out of the start, but has forgotten to include or account for the finished. These are those who are told to go buy oil, for they do not have enough to last till morning.

Well it would be hard to argue with that my friend . They build a wall with untemepred morter
and add diverse and strange stones in with it . ITS ALL COMING DOWN on the DAY OF THE LORD .

In the Parable of verse 28-30 Jesus is speaking against building something in our own strength.
In Ezekiel 34, God tells Israel that He will gather the Israelites to Himself and that He will plant them in His fertile soil and that He will teach them on His mountain's foundation that Jesus is the corner foundation for what they need to believe where they are living scattered throughout the whole earth and that He will remove the beasts of the earth from the face of the earth for a time of peace for Israel and all of mankind from the wicked heavenly hosts who are the beasts of the fields/earth.
When Jesus was asked what we, the assembly of the saint need to do to help bring in God's everlasting Kingdom during the time of these kings of Daniel 2, He simply said to "Believe in Him Who He has sent."
Paul often wrote that we need to renew our minds and to put on the refurbished personhood that God intended all of mankind to become.
The refurbishment of our lives is a task that God will complete in us, but our pride will want to do this refurbishment in our own strength.
In the Parable of Luke 14:28-30, God is telling Israel and the Gentile Saints that we do not have the means/available cash to reconcile ourselves to Him. Blessed are those that seek His terms of His peace and who comply with those terms.
Seeing that we have an uncompleted structure/tower in our individual lives suggests that we need to repent and to seek His terms of peace so that He can complete His work in our lives.
In John 2 Jesus said that He would rebuild the temple over a period of some 3,000 years, i.e. three days of the Lord, out of the building blocks of His body of the Saints to worship God in the eighth day/age of mankind.

I Agree you speak the truth. It could be pride but I foresaw a stumbling Block that prevents completion of the work for this prophecy when I examined it. The person who this prophecy is destined to knows what it might and has to resolve the issue, it will require total faith in Christ and no one else.
I know speak strangely but this is what I "know" or "saw"
