I believe should see everyone as souls and spirits. Not as flesh people with bodies. This is the next stage in the spiritual journey, and it helps us to be more like God. Who doesnt see men the way men see men. He sees us as souls with hearts.
What you are witnessing is the condition of a man's soul going through the refiners fire. God is working deeply in him. His distress is simply the pressure of the inner transformation God is bringing. God is revealing this so you will stand in the gap while he completes his work. This is not judgement, this is refiners fire.
