The Lord is saying: I am calling My people into true bond-service. I am removing the belt of self-reliance, personal authority, and human strength, and I am binding my servants to my will alone.

This is not judgment, nor is it restraint, it is consecration. I am forming a people who no longer move by their own readiness, but who bow in humility and offer themselves fully to Me.

It is upon My bond-servants, both men and women, that I will pour out My Spirit. Those who willingly yield their hands, their works, and their ways to me will be entrusted with my voice.

The coming release of prophetic utterance will not flow from ambition or platform, but from surrender and obedience. I am not looking for those who are self-directed, but for those who are bound to Me.

Do not fear this binding, for it precedes My outpouring. As my people kneel before Me in worship and submission, I will speak again through them by My Spirit, and they shall prophesy. I am preparing my servants for what is to come.

I find the parallels with Acts 21:10-14 .... disturbing.

10 After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”

12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”
