If you do bible study under pressure it's a waste of time so relax and do it as and when.
I'm going to read the first part again and start a notebook.

I agree...I just read the preface...going to day one.
Are we to try to stay on the same day as a group?

I hope we can, but as we are all over the place we won't necessarily be on the same day of the week but we can be on the same day of the study. I've never read Andrew Murray before but I like what I've read so far.

Pearl, I don’t have a kindle, I have an e-reader but it’s a Kobo. I am also already on a month long study on the bible app I downloaded. However if you fancy sharing anything that comes up I will keep an eye out for the thread. Xx

It was just a thought and I know some of you are doing different studies. I'll see how it goes.

I'm probably not going to be on CB as much, but I can catch up time from time in between! My ADHD is getting out of hand and I need to get some of my work done and my sense of time is really bad. I am all over the place with things lately.

Day One - My thoughts.

I enjoyed reading the first passage, I was afraid it might be stodgy but I didn't think so.
The main points were that God wants us to be dependent on him and that is how he made us; incomplete without his input into ourselves; we are vessels with His life within us. He gives we receive. He is strong we are weak. We need to be dependent on God because without him we are helpless and powerless.
