That is being selfish and put oneself before others. What should be the first, natural response for followers of Christ is to do whatever one can to prevent transmission of the virus and so reduce the possibility of harm to others, not to mention oneself. That is, it is to out others’ interests ahead of one’s own.

I love that passage, but it has little to no bearing on the discussion.
