What A Gleeful Show Glee Is....not!

Last night I watched the TV show Glee. It's been given a lot of publicity...was showcased on Oprah last week and on American Idol last night. So, I thought it might be refreshing to see young folks singing and dancing even if it is slated for a much younger audience. And, it seems to have a huge younger audience.

In the first segment a guy was leaving his wife, who it turns out is pregnant, there is also a cheerleader in the Glee club who is pregnant ( I didn't watch last year so I don't know who the dad is). The mean and tomboyish PE teacher jumped into bed with the principal in order to bribe him. The same PE teacher sent two of her cheerleader girls on a trek to take a boyfriend away from a member on the Glee club...those two cheerleaders are Lesbian. They made the statement to the young man...."you get to watch us makeout...every guy's dream." One of the male members of the Glee Club is also gay...overtly gay.

So, this wonderful show is just chock full of joyful and wholesome things.

Death, Satan, enters our windows...our windows to the world...television, computers, radios, etc. He sits in our homes and takes our children captive.

And yet...
I laughed out loud at so many things.

The first was when the tall blonde PE teacher (Judy Lynch ?) delivers coffee with whipped cream to the unattractive principle (apparently he has
just re-instated her) -and says it's bec she now knows there's nothing he won't lick whipped cream off of!

Yes, it is a depraved, carnal show influencing the minds of the public to think it is
just fine to be gay, pregnant outside marriage, have unmarried sex, etc... I loved it.
I see why it is a hit and has won awards.

The first show of "Cougars" on Weds - I was appalled by it's unChristian message - and now I pee my pants it's so well written and funny.

These things are on in the background as I'm reading or typing.
Now, during the day I'm only listening to inspiration Bible lessons or Christian music, with 15 minutes of the morning news.

Go figure - I love to laugh at well written, fast-paced shows.
But, it's all insidious ways this world seeps into our minds... they don't call the devil a snake for nothing.
NOW, he uses humor to slowly trick us.

And I'm falling for it - laughing all the way.

It would seem that God gave us a warning in Jeremiah. This is one of the reasons our TV stays OFF.... I believe in freedom of Speech, but I am fully convinced that our nation would be better if we censored TV. Freedom of Speech should not included known lies, but was meant so that people could freely voice concerns without fear of prosecution. Not to be used to sow evil things into people.

There was a time when it was against the law to show a police officer being murdered on screen. In fact, lots of things were not allowed that are allowed today.

Pretty awesome revelation, and prompted me to check into it more. One reason to be on the forums. Learn and grow.

Im with mike thats the reason i might watch baseball and my wrestling shows and thats it. Read Romans 1:26, Romans 1:27, Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13 and 1st Corinthians 6:9 concerning homosuxuals. Pray for them pray very hard and long that those homosexual people will repent before the lord before its to late.
