Exodus 31:15
Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the LORD.

A bad and in fact a miss-translation!

Read: "Six days may work be done, but the day The Seventh Day is Sabbath-Day-of-Rest HOLY TO THE LORD."
Now since The Same LORD GOD "made the Sabbath" and made it "holy unto" Himself and "in it", actually "rested and revived", you want to come tell sincere and honest seekers who want to please, serve and worship, HIM, that not even HE, knows which day of HIS CREATING, of HIS REST, of HIS PLEASURE AND ENJOYMENT AND WORSHIP, AND, OF HIS, RESURRECTION, IS?

Colossians 2:16
Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths.

Colossians 2:16-19

12 While dead in your sins God who raised Christ from the dead forgave you all trespasses having quickened you together with Him. Nailing it to the cross and removing it altogether, Christ blotted out the damning law against us; and putting off and ruining the rulers and the authorities [of darkness 1:13], He publicly held them up to shame, triumphing over them in it. [If ye then be raised with Christ 3:1], THEN THEREFORE, don’t you let yourselves be judged and condemned by anyone (of the world 2:8, 20) in your eating and drinking or with regard to your eating and drinking of feast, whether of month’s or of Sabbaths’—all which shadows forth what soon must be, the BODY and SUBSTANCE OF CHRIST!

Let no man not holding to the Head [but] puffed up by his fleshly mind, who conceitedly meddles in what he knows nothing about (the mystery which is Christ 1:28), with his pretentious humility and angelic worship beguile you (with enticing words 2:4) of your reward.

Because holding to the Head nourishment being ministered, all the Body (of Christ’s Own 1:18) by joints and bands [of faith 2:12 Hosea 11:4; peace Ephesians 4:3; and charity Colossians 3:14], and knit together (in love 2:2), will grow with the growth of God.

"Don't you let yourselves be judged by anyone in regard to your eating and drinking of Christ the Substance of Sabbaths' Feast either Lord's Supper of month's or Sabbaths' Feast, which are but the shadow of what imminently must come for you holding to the Head, the Body growing with the growth of God Christ being the Nourishment ministered."

Since having resurrected from the dead "on the Sabbath in fullness of day", "Jesus having entered into his Own Rest as God in his own, He gave them Rest, so that THEREFORE A KEEPING OF SABBATH REST DAY FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD REMAINS."

No such thing as Christian Sabbath. Sabbath commands were ONLY for Israel.
The word "Sabbath" first appears in Exodus 16:23 - Then he said to them, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning. Sabbath keeping with all it's rules and regulations, was part of a covenant with Israel (Exodus 16:23; 29; 31:12-18; 35:1-3; Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3, 32; Numbers 15:32-36; 28:1-10; 29:39-40; 1 Chronicles 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13; Amos 8:5; Nehemiah 10:31) that is not binding on the Church/Christians in the New Testament.

The Word of God makes it clear that Sabbath observance was a sign between God and Israel: "The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested." (Exodus 31:16-17)

In Deuteronomy 5, Moses restates the Ten Commandments to the next generation of Israelites. Here, after commanding Sabbath observance in verses 12–14, Moses gives the reason the Sabbath was given to the nation Israel: "Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day." (Deuteronomy 5:1:15)

*Nowhere in the New Testament is the Church commanded to keep the weekly Sabbath day and to the contrary we find -- (Colossians 2:16-17)

This, <debate surrounding Saturday> did not <mysteriously change the correct sabbath to worship GOD to a Sunday> and was not begun <by the papacy>, but by a cleric and a martyr IN THE CHURCH, Justin Martyr, who did it in the days of the Caesars using misinformation and pretentiousness to deceive and intimidate the sheeple and impress the Ruler-- the exact same tool and methodology used by politicians and potentates of today.

Would you care to provide any evidence for that claim?

No Sabbath commands in the NT!
Legalists require Law for what "is valid for the People of God" without saying, which is bad enough, but when legalists demand Commands when it is Written, "SINCE JESUS GAVE THEM REST" it is way past any hope they ever will recognise grace and goodness when they encounter grace and goodness.

To me our sabbath is whichever day we choose to rest from our labours and not necessarily a Sunday or a Saturday. Many people - even Christians - must work on those days so it makes sense if they do, to designate another day as a day of rest.

By all means to you, saying, <<to me our sabbath is whichever day we choose to rest from our labours>> but by no means to God, saying it is HIS Sabbath, which is "the day The Seventh Day-Sabbath OF THE LORD GOD", which HE "made for man" whatever man chooses or not, and which the Son of Man Jesus Christ "is Lord" of BECAUSE HE ON IT FINISHED ALL THE WORKS OF GOD BY HAVING RESTED REVIVING, RESURRECTING, "the day The Seventh Day".

"Nowhere in the New Testament is the Church commanded to keep the weekly Sabbath day and to the contrary we find -- (Colossians 2:16-17)"

I note you have no answer to him either.

In response to the above, would it be correct to say, GOD is telling his creation they must rest one day in seven and to keep the seventh day holy, regardless of which seventh day in the week that may be.

You answered your own question with Scripture.

What do we do when someone demands that we keep the Sabbath as Christians?

Answer: "Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths."

Paul ended the argument of the Judaizers. Why live in the shadow of what is to come when we already have the Substance?

says KFC Chicken palp.

Says the New Testament! Or, more correctly, what it doesn't say... The New Testament knows nothing of a "Christian Sabbath."

Kcnalp states an absolute! Absolutes are easy to disprove and debunk; just show us the New Testament command for Christians to observe the Sabbath, or where the Bible says "Christian Sabbath"!

<to the contrary>?!

I must quote the real Colossians 2:12-19 for you again. Every time I may catch you ignoring it, I'll PLAGUE you with it.

Colossians 2:16-19.

And every time you evade the real New Testament by failing to show where it shows us the New Testament command for Christians to observe the Sabbath, or where the Bible says "Christian Sabbath," we will PLAGUE you with it! :)
