What Do You Pray For?

I decided to do this thread to give it a try. I pray on the same things a lot but I want to add things up. I pray for the lost to accept Christ Jesus a lot. I pray for people and animals who go missing to be rescued a lot. I pray for other things too. But I think I want newer things to pray on, and to be able to improve. I could use other things to pray about. Maybe there are those of you who feel the same way.

What things do you pray for? What are you praying for?

I've prayed for internet message boards/online forums, for more people to wake up and that the knowledge of God increases. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. I pray for more laborers. A variety of people who have different talents and operation.

Feel free to share what you pray about and/or even a list of things. Give others' an idea of what they can pray about.

Well, i usually pray for mostly friends and family. I dont usually make much prayer about myself, other than to ask if i’m ever gonna get saved. Usually i just tell the Lord about whatever is going on in my family’s life, like asking Him to help my dads foot, or protect my sister when she’s on a trip. Quite honestly, im not even sure if He listens to me, but i do pray everynite for friends and family.

What things do you pray for?

Priorities in prayer:-
For your Local fellowship, the minister and leadership team, for services, for the members, for those who are sick in need etc
For he churches missionaries, you do know who they are don't you?
For your churches involvement in local and international charities. example we support a local homeless project, a local schools worker, a loca care scheme, in South Africa a local care scheme for children with hiv/adds as well as bible translation/missionaries in north africa.
Then there is the perscution of Christians, we have a monthly update in the church service.

Prayer should be intelligent none of the. ' oh God bless so and so.'

Check out the interests of your local church, ask questions, like why arn't they helping with, name a local charity?

I like @Windmillcharge idea where we have priorities. I usually pray for family and friends as they are my immediate responsibility. Myself included.

I pray for my brethren... Those I am close to. I also pray for my pets. I pray for the unknown sons of God so they may come into his fold. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Prayer is so powerful, and it can be hard to get into deep prayer sometimes. My prayers are mostly for the lost and confused. Prayers for myself are simply to HEAR Him and to always acknowledge Him first in all things.
I don't necessarily pray for provisions, I THANK Him FOR them.

Intercessory prayer is what I really would like to have with a prayer partner, to lift people up, lift the church, and places like our beloved forum, friends, family, neighbors...on and on and on!. And, to have fellowship with honest and sincere Christians.
When we KNOW something is His will, we can pray once in petition, then thereafter...I thank Him for the answer He will bring :) But I always put "Your will be done" after.

Oh we can never run out of things to pray for...it's just the "getting there" into that reverential mode, in a quiet place with no distractions.

I pray for wisdom and discernment quite often. A closer walk with God, and to be able to minister to others effectively.

Lately I've been praying for individuals who need healing, whether it be physical, emotional, psychological, addictions, or spiritual. I don't know why God decided to put that on my heart.
