Extremely heavy rains affecting parts of southwestern Japan over the past couple of days forced hundreds of thousands to evacuate. Severe weather continues in the region and is forecast to spread to mainland Japan, all the way to Tohoku.

On Monday, July 12, 2021, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has issued a Level 5 weather warning -- the highest -- for the entire western Japan city of Unnan, Shimane Prefecture.
All of the approximately 13 700 households in the city, and their roughly 36 800 residents, are subject to the warning, The Mainichi reports.
JMA says that it appears that around 100 mm (3.93 inches) of rain fell in a single hour in the area around Unnan.
Western Japan's Sanin region has also seen extremely heavy localized rain and thunder. The JMA says the dangers of a landslide or flood disaster have risen precipitously and is urging people to take caution.
JMA is also warning residents on the Japanese mainland of potential mudslides and floods through July 13.
Thunderstorms are forecast for wide areas from the Tohoku region to the west.
Power outages have already affected Tokyo and five other prefectures on July 11.

Her letter was sent to Mr. Rand who is the Executive Director of AARP. It only takes a few days on the Internet and this message will have reached 75% of the public in the U.S.A.

Dear Mr. Rand,

Recently you sent us a letter encouraging us to renew our lapsed membership in AARP by the requested date. This isn't what you were looking for, but it is the most honest response I can give you. Our coverage gap is a microscopic symptom of the real problem, a deepening lack of faith. While we have proudly maintained our membership for years and long admired the AARP goals and principles, regrettably, we can no longer endorse its abdication of our values. The illegal perpetrators have broken into our 'house', invaded our home without invitation or consent. The President insists we keep these illegal perpetrators in comfort and learn the perpetrator's language so we can communicate our reluctant welcome to them. I DON'T choose to welcome them, to support them, to educate them, to medicate them, or to pay for their food or clothing. American home invaders get arrested. Please explain to me why foreign lawbreakers can enjoy privileges on American soil that Americans do not get? Why do some immigrants have to play the game to be welcomed and others only have to break and enter to be welcomed?

Of all the many good folks he enjoyed on this last 10,000 miles, this trip yielded only ONE supporter of the current Regime. One of us is out of touch with mainstream America . Since our poll is conducted without funding, I have more faith in it than ones that are driven by a need to yield AMNESTY (aka-make voters out of the foreign lawbreakers so they can vote to continue the governments free handouts). This addition of 10 to 20 million voters who then will vote to continue Socialism will OVERWHELM our votes to control the government's free handouts. It is a "slippery slope" we must not embark on!

A great many years ago I joined the AARP believing at the time it would be a good thing for me and my wife. But it in time it seemed to gain a life of its own which did not even closely reflect our own beliefs, interests and needs. When I finally was realizing this and seeing little use personally for their offered discounts, it was time to leave.

My wife had already paid about 3 years premiums in advance not long before that, but when that time expired which was more than 10 years ago, we let it lapse. Since then they have sent us innumerable requests desiring that we reinstate our membership. No more!

EU Commission Begins Legal Action Against Hungary and Poland over LGBT Issues

The European Commission will start legal proceedings against Hungary and Poland after accusing the conservative countries of violating the rights of LGBT people.

The unelected commission stated in a press release on Thursday that in the case of Hungary, the legal procedure was related to several issues, including a newly adopted law banning the teaching of gender ideology or homosexuality to children.

The EU’s powerful executive branch argued: “Hungary has failed to explain why the exposure of children to LGBTIQ content as such would be detrimental to their well-being or not in line with the best interests of the child.”

The European Commission also claimed that Hungary limited the right to freedom of expression by making the publisher of an LGBT children’s book write a disclaimer stating that the book depicts forms of “behaviour deviating from traditional gender roles”.

Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, for his part, has insisted that “education in schools must not be in conflict with the will of parents; it must at most be supplementary, its form and content must be clearly defined and it must be subject to parental consent,” adding: “parents also rightly expect that on platforms used by our children, pornography, sexuality for its own sake, homosexuality and gender reassignment programs should not be available.”



Gay Revenge Porn Convict Leading EU Attack on Hungary's LGBT Law


Prime Minister Orbán has criticised the EU for its outrage over the law, stating earlier this month that the bloc were acting like “colonialists”.

“They behave like colonialists. They want to dictate what laws should take effect in another country, they want to tell us how to live our lives and how to behave,” Prime Minister Orbán said.

“If we allow others to tell us how we should live, who should be allowed to live in Hungary, how we should organise our lives and raise our children, we will be lost,” Orbán noted in a separate comment.

Regarding Poland, the Commission has objected to so-called “LGBT-ideology free zones”, stating: “The Commission is concerned that these declarations may violate EU law regarding non-discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation.”

Despite EU anger over Poland’s stance on LGBT issues, a poll of Polish people conducted last year revealed that 62 per cent were opposed to same-sex marriage, and just 22 supported the idea.
