He got curious, and decided to watch her to the end of the day. after foot traffic slowed later in the day he saw the old woman pick up her things and walked off, He fallowed her down the block and she turned and went down the ally, he saw her walk up to a Limo, the driver got out and opened the door for her and she got in and the Limo drove away.

Do you house them all?
Do you feed them all?
Do you clothe them all?

If not, you are committing sin because helping just one is not sufficient.
You would have to
house all those you come into contact with,
feed all those you come into contact with,
clothe all those you come into contact with.

Otherwise it's the sin of ommission.

For one or many,
If you have the ability to :-

For me it's always been about praying for my neighbors, and I have a Christian guy on one side of me and a couple whose children have grown up and left on the other. I like to pray for them every morning and bless their day. What are some loving things you do for your neighbor? And I'm not just talking about those who live next to you.

When Jesus explained this He didn't waste an opportunity to challenge the religious ones by citing a hated Samaritan as a good example.

Jesus had a habit of doing that...being the revolutionary that He is.

When He cited Elijah feeding the the woman of Sidon, and The cleansing of the Syrian leper, Naaman, He did so to cries of hatred...so that they wanted to throw Him off a cliff.

Why? Jesus specified that there were a lot of poor people among the Jews but God had pity on a pagan woman. Likewise there were many lepers in the land but God only cleansed....you guessed it...another pagan.

So then what Jesus taught was very detrimental to our sensibilities and what one would think along partisan religious lines. The truth is going to mess with our heads....in a good way.

So then who is our neighbour today?....who would Jesus use to teach us what loving our neighbour is about? A Muslim, a Hindu? Basically whatever gives our ego a cringe. If we can overcome our own distaste then we are seeing things more like God who is merciful. If we show mercy, then we will be shown mercy.

To add to this...if anyone is interested in a deeper connection to the scriptures and the Hebrew regarding loving one's neighbour....

There are 3 words in Hebrew that are basically identical...just the vowel sounds change...and the structure of Hebrew is that every letter has a meaning in itself

Those three related words are reah, ra-ah and roeh...or neighbour, evil, and shepherd.

The letters that make up these words are resh meaning FIRST or "head" . The other letter is an ayin meaning the "eye" or "to see".

The most used word in the Hebrew bible of the three is the word for evil...ra-ah or just ra. That is the first thing you see. Or what sticks out.

the next most used word is roeh the word for shepherd...or.. The first one to see.

and lastly we have the word for neighbour...reah which could be translated as "the first one you see"

So the commandment goes... Veahavta (And you shall love) lereahcha (the next one you see) camocha (as yourself)

When we filter that through the mind of Christ we see that we are to love the next person we encounter regardless of their worthiness of it....regardless of their religious affiliation...and in so doing just might discover why God is love.

Yes ....and the context of that scripture is even more clear about it. "Let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth."
