The greek and latin words that make up the English language define:

socialist as: group

communist as: kind, friendly, with, together

A socialist or communist can be a word for either good or evil, just like any other thing derived in the fall of Adam and Eve. The tree of knowledge of good and evil gave way to two directions for a lot of things. But sin is always evil. Some ideas are not sin, but can include sin. Like society, or communions.

A socialist without God certainly leads down an eventual dark path in the fall.

A communion, like a high rise, massive apartment building can also become dark without our Lord's healing of his people and those not yet covenant with him.

The story of Russian communism and socialism under Stalin was told to me as a rich ruling class living on hills above the cities where every worker earned the same wage, whether doctor or barber, or road worker, or restaurant worker and so on. Perhaps lack of motivation to do a doctor's job became a problem and so on.

The capitalist idea was then appealing to other people. You could work hard and earn your worth. Build up to ruling business and so on.

In the history of socialists which leads to communists, there is Hitler and Stalin, but more importantly those dark cities of Babylon, Sodom and Egypt. Where our Lord was crucified.

Jesus with his father and their holy spirit can rule effectively in those areas as king of kings, lord of lords. He is love, peace and eternal healing and life, protection for his people.

The early church had all members with sufficient for their needs, serving God and one another.

Early church of Christ:

Acts of the Apostles 4:

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

1 Timothy 3:

1 This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.
14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:
15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

The history of Israel, God's chosen people is one of kings, emperors, lords and good and evil. The old testament is filled with important learning regarding such matters as kingdoms and kings.

Beyond that there as after the new testament kings, some doing good, while others, doing also evil.

The current era is marked with more tempting and troubling matters we all deal with. I don't know of true kingdoms now days as they were totalitarian of old days. Most kingdoms have a more advanced government body these days. They are mixed with capitalism and voting areas. Voice of the people. Old days people did have a voice as well. And that is a long study area that can take more than a lifetime.

Slavery has been abolished as declared on earth and it's nations. While the eruption of the ongoing fight against slavery is one of the fight against organized crime and corruption. Thievery, bearing false witness, treating others as objects is similar and enslaving. Murder included.

We have a King don't we as believers and a husband who is Christ.
The kingdom of God has a King as Supreme.
Jesus is not a communist as he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
God is a God of ordered hierarchy who hands out rewards according to how everyone's work is done.

Communism is ungodliness in the earth, and you wont find it in heaven

Revelation 22:11-13

12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the [b]Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

Romans 7:4
Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.

AMPC 2 Corinthians 11:2
For I am zealous for you with a godly eagerness and a divine jealousy, for I have betrothed you to one Husband, to present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

Living Before the World

11 Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, 12 having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Submission to Government

13 Therefore submit yourselves to every [c]ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, whether to the king as supreme, 14 or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. 15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men— 16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for [d]vice, but as bondservants of God. 17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

Submission to Masters

18 Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh. 19 For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for [e]us, leaving [f]us an example, that you should follow His steps:

22 “Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;
23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose [g]stripes you were healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and [h]Overseer of your souls.
